  1. Ah, that video never fails to make me laugh. Thank you for making my morning!
  2. I agree with you. I never really got into it like I did with his other albums. It's difficult to pick a favourite, but I think I'm going to go with Love is Hell.
  3. I haven't seen this, thanks so much!
  4. Haha! It would have to be like a transformer, so he could change between DJ Reggie, member of the Shit, WereWolph (all his crazy website stuff), and his different personalities/moods at any given time.
  5. Haha similar thing happened to me yesterday while listening to that album! Someone walked by my office and said "What the hell is that?!" They thought the really high-pitched guitar was something on my desk going haywire. They also had no comment when I told them what it really was.
  6. Curse you, entropy! Now I want them. I wonder, what would that Ryan Adams action figure be like? Hmm....
  7. I love love love the YHF artwork! I guess my order would be... YHF SBS AGIB (I love the egg and nest, not so much the drawings) BT AM ST
  8. I don't know how to put the song up here by itself, but here is the link (courtesy of the owl and the bear) to the recording of the Living Room show from March 3, 2007 in which Jeff plays Can't Stand It. It's song 13 on the third disc....enjoy!!! http://www.owlandbear.com/2007/05/15/hoste...y-march-3-2007/
  9. overrated: Hummingbird, Kingpin, Heavy Metal Drummer underrated: Someone Else's Song, Secret of the Sea, Summerteeth, Too Far Apart
  10. I was never a really big fan of this song, and I admit, I would skip it on occasion...but since hearing Jeff's solo acoustic version, its taken on a whole new meaning for me and I appreciate it so much more now.
  11. I figure I'll mention a random spotting here.... Once I had some sports network on and they were doing a profile on a basketball player or a team, I don't remember, and they were playing Kingpin in the background...the instrumental part was repeated over and over, and the only lyrics that were played were "How can I give my love to you when I don't know what to do..." I was so confused.
  12. I haven't seen any of them either, but I have seen the AMC "What Light" ad a couple of times. Which, by the way, confused the hell out of me the first time I saw it. Was this agreed to at around the same time as the VW commercials?
  13. I didn't mean to be bitter! I was just saying you guys are luckier than most, and I found it funny because it sounded as if they haven't played there in years, is all.
  14. I curse my life every day that I am not living in Chicago. Every single day. Also, the title of this thread made me laugh really hard...."finally" a Chicago show?? In terms of seeing Wilco, you guys in Chicago are the luckiest folks of them all.
  15. I saw them in Toronto, it was amaaaaaaaaaaaazing. They played the Union Forever and my brain turned to mush. And I met Fred Armisen in the crowd! Great night. You will love every second of both shows.
  16. I have it, its cool if you want a look into the life of Woody Guthrie. It doesn't have a whole lot of Wilco in it, mostly Bill Bragg and Nora Guthrie, Woody's daughter. It does have some really good scenes of the music writing process though.
  17. Wow! That's impressive. I harmonize (or attempt to), but that's about it.
  18. I was there too Where can I find a recording of this show? P.S. My first offical post after a few years of lurking! I finally emerged from the shadows.
