  1. Oh man, these songs sound incredible! Jeff's voice floors me. Minus the Sufjan one, which I'm not a big fan of so far. Thanks for posting the link!
  2. You are very lucky!! That must have been amazing. I didn't get to see the videos, but out of curiousity, which songs did they play for you guys?
  3. OH MAN!!! Totally worth the trip. This show was amazing. My 7th time seing them, and the played 7 songs that I've never heard live before. That's incredible. I was a stander, right form the beginning. I tried to move a bit closer (I was in the 5th row aisle, and I couldn't see fully because of the guys in front of me) and the security guard was not having it. He even hit my leg a couple of times when I was leaning into the aisle to get a better look at Mikael and Glenn at one point! I was pissed. And the people in the first few rows on our side didn't stand up until Spiders I think!!! I wish I
  4. Curious...a few weeks ago I had a dream that I was at the show and they opened with Misunderstood. When Jeff says "You still love rock and roll" I was the only one who cheered, and I looked around and there were literally 10 people in their seats. But I'm sure it will fill up closer to the day of the show. My dream will not become reality! Only 9 days left!!!!!!!
  5. AMEN!!!!! That sounds like it was a great show!!
  6. I've seen Ryan 3 times now. The first time it was okay, but he played pretty much only Cold Roses songs and it was the very day Cold Roses came out (I believe). The crowd wasn't into it, and he left the stage after saying "We suck, goodnight!" The second time was this past June, and the set was about an hour and there was no encore and he barely said 3 words in between songs, but the performance was really good. Finally, I saw him last week at Massey Hall, and it was incredible. I can honestly say that some moments of that show are among my top concert moments ever. In conclusion, see Ryan
  7. Weird! On the bus to work this morning, a man was listening to that song on his iPod. I heard it pretty clear, he had it damn loud. I love it, and it would be SO fun if Wilco covered it!
  8. Wow. Kind of disturbing...I did not like that at all. I wonder what Jeff's reaction would be if he saw this.
  9. I'm fifth row in the pit too, so I will see you there!! This is going to be awesome.
  10. This thread makes me want to have a child so I can dress them up in cute Wilco clothing...all of your children are adorable!
  11. YES. Elephant Parade, although very short, physically hurts me when I listen to it, as do a lot of the Jon Brion songs on the Eternal Sunshine soundtrack. So beautiful and so sad.
  12. Your dream John has good taste! I've had a few Wilco dreams, none of which I can remember. Although...I vaguely remember hanging out with Jeff in one. But no details.
  13. They don't stay in my ears either, and I don't know anyone else that has this problem...so this is reassuring.
  14. new Weakerthans coming out soon, it's leaked but I haven't heard the whole thing yet. I've heard some songs, and I'm very excited EDIT: And the Sigur Ros releases!!!!! November 6.
  15. Alright, thats what I thought...thanks!
  16. First of all, congrats to those who got rows 2, 3 and 4, those are awesome seats! Secondly, I've never bought tickets from the Wilcoworld presale before...in what time zone are the presale start times listed on the website?
  17. I don't remember where I read this, but I thought Jeff said they weren't going to make another album like SBS.
  18. I couldn't have said this better myself.
  19. I'm not going to this show, but just reading this thread makes me super pumped for all of you ....its going to be incredible. Have fun everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Hi! Please share more, that's a lovely picture! Hey, did Mikael get a hair cut? Looks nice, from what I can see
  21. jImMy JiMmY !, you're a good story teller! Poor Monty, that's rough...
  22. You mean: Dancing..... It is extremely difficult for me to stay sitting a Wilco concert...when Wilco played Massey Hall in 2006 and everyone was sitting (before Jeff yelled at us) I wanted to stand so badly, but I didn't want to piss off the people behind me and I was too shy to dance in the aisle by myself. Thankfully every other time I've seen Wilco I have been on my feet and moving!
