nevermind the fact that too many people just don't understand how taxes work. under Obama's plan, someone making $250,000 or less won't have their taxes go up whatsoever, in fact they'll get a tax cut. if someone makes $250,001, their taxes up to the $250,000 mark will be at the same 36%. only that $1 will ba taxed at the 39% rate, which if you do the math, means they'd be paying an extra 3 cents... gimme a break...

it's so great of you to lookout for those more fortunate

i just started listening to the new Folds last week... it's quite good. not one of my faves on the year, but easily his best/most consistent since his first solo album. re: Blitzen Trapper... that album makes me want to write a screenplay with it as the soundtrack...

Matt is by far my favorite artist post '00... can't f'n wait for this i'd say Transfiguration of Vincent is my favorite, followed ever so closely by Post War. after that, End of Amnesia and Transistor Radio are both awesome as well.

Wild Mountain Nation was up there on my list last year, but not top 10 if i recall... more like top 20-25 the songwriting on this one is just WAY WAY stronger and the album as a whole is way more consistant. Pitchfork gave WMN an 8.5, if i was to agree with that (which i probably wouldn't, closer to a high 7), that would make Furr like a 9.1 for me. their earlier 2 albums are pretty good too, but this is easily their best album to date.

definitely my favorite album of the year currently...

he's most definitely related (somehow) to the son-in-law of Charles Keating: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html...756C0A964958260 Robert Wurzelbacher Jr. is a prominent Republican supporter who has donated well over $10k in recent elections. it's not known exactly just how Robert & Joe are related yet, but that article is from '92 which would make Robert 54 years old, Joe is 34 years old right now.......

yes. Joe Plumber is also an Investor: http://www.manta.com/coms2/dnbcompany_cyh9br

anyone who doesn't know the difference between the two shouldn't probably own a small business IMO what do i know, i'm elitist
-
because if he was truly a plant, then that says a lot about McCain's campaign and desperation. i don't see how his issue is all that confusing? other than the fact that Joe 'The Plumber' doesn't have the business mind to realize that the only way he'd ever be affected by the 3% increase on incomes $250k and up is if his NET INCOME after paying his employees was over $250,000... if that were ever the case, then i'm sorry, he's $150k+ away from being considered "middle class" in 2008. not to mention all of the tax breaks small businesses are allowed to claim... (i should know, i'm in that

Joe 'The Plumber' not actually a licensed plumber: http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...0160418/-1/NEWS

Apple taking over the world...

i've never had issues like that with any of my 5 Mac's (iMac, Mac Mini, + MacBook at home, iMac + PowerBook G4 at work) -
yeah man... i kept thinking "ok... joke's over Neil, when are you gonna break out something from Greendale (which i do like, don't get me wrong), or Living With War (ditto, also like it, but still), but the his just kept rolling. never thought i'd ever seen him do a full on electric Cortez

all i added was "if we were to argue semantics" what's the deal?

if we were to argue semantics, so is making more or less money

or maybe Blaze of Glory?

also spot on. so many people in America truly believe their financial status is way higher than it actually is, or vote with the ideaology that "maybe someday i *WILL* be in the top 5%, and these tax policies will benefit me (nevermind the fact that they rarely help them at the time)". when the sad reality is, the % of those folks who will ever reach the top 5% is incredibly minimal and only gets worse as we go along...
-
holy shit that's the best analogy ever... mind if i quote you on that?
