besides a track or two, this one isn't doing much for me at all compared to The Warning

that song was left off the debut because it was too upbeat apparently -

the last time i saw them (not by choice) was opening for The Who in 2003, yikes that was not pretty... -
now Thom Yorke i'd have to agree with... post OKC i often wonder if he's singing in English can't say i've ever had a problem w/ James Mercer or Jim James really either tho

yeah... not to mention that Duritz turns EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SONG into some spoken word shit. it's so god damn annoying. -
never had a problem understanding any of his lyrics to be perfectly honest...
-
yeah, their shows are always AA, smoke-free, and end before midnight far as i was told there will be no advance tix for the show on the 10th, just get there early

in-studio from 89.3 The Current on Friday:
-
they took the full album stream down a couple weeks ago, it'll be back up after the release
-
i bet he comes there in April

right next door to Racey's coffee shop (it's actually connected) is the Nucleus holds about 125-140 people i'd say. saw Justin twice there in October, first time opening for DeYarmond Edison (the 2nd of their two reunion shows), that one was sold out, but the second time was opening for Land of Talk and there was only like 35-40 people there. can't wait
-
uhm, ok

photoshop works wonders. not saying she's not attractive in some photos, but i've seen her in person very up close (her and Blake stood by us at the restaurant we ate at before their show here back in May), trust me...
-
that you've got good taste in females?
-
my good friend Stacy took those haha, yeah that was funny. Justin talked about that issue from the stage and got a collective boo when he mentioned he couldn't sell it just yet. he said he still has some burned copies in his truck from like July though my other friends Jon & David also took some nice ones: http://www.flickr.com/photos/howwastheshow...57603746332543/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jcbehm/sets/72157603739495610/

funny thing is, prior to 2007, Amy weighed quite a bit more than she does now and i found her much more close to being attractive then with actual meat on her bones: for lolz:
-
big a "big label party" i meant that i'm guessing almost all 40+ employees of Jag/SC/Dead Oceans will be at the gig
-
you're too much cryptique or myself (or anyone else for that matter) not finding Amy Winehouse hot/sexy is SO not a case of "mainstream notion of sex appeal" whatsoever, sorry to disappoint you. i find Sharon Jones way sexier at 52 years old than i do Amy Winehouse, so yeah...
-
it's great. they're touring w/ Headlights soon
-
surely you can forego one night of Wilco for the amazing-ness that is Bon Iver that Bloomington show is gonna be a big label party too i think
-
i agree w/ Cryptique... Amy has always looked rather man-ish to me. even when she isn't all strung out looking i've never really found her that hot. and even if not, she looks skanky, has nothing to do with what is typically "hot". if you really want Littlebear, we can do another Poll: Is Amy Winehouse Sexy, Skanky, or Gross. and i'm guessing you'll be in a pretty small minority who find her sexy. and besides, Amy is a blonde now anyway
-
Amy and the word sexy = does not compute. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...ticle536120.ece

no, they joined a few years ago... 2004 maybe? i forget the first time i saw Adam & Dave w/ Marah... and Bloodline opened the last Marah show i saw in 2005 or so.
-
absolutely amazing show tonight... easily the best of the 4 i've seen. this is the touring lineup i believe too. Sean Carey on drums (who i've seen him play w/ 2x before) and a second guitarist (who played Baritone guitar often) whose name is escaping me right now (it'll come to me... he looks to be 16 or so (he's probably early 20's). Justin did this sick Nels Cline-esque gutiar solo during i think The Wolves or Blindsided maybe he said he'll be back in April already for 2 shows , that and i'm going to go see him on Feb 10th in Eau Claire also, new dates, with the also amazing Phospho

i'd agree with that... as gorgeous as The Purgatory Line is, it definitely does not sound like DBT in any way shape or form and if i had heard it on the radio first there's no way i would have even picked up on it.
