not her. meg is a little thinner and has bigger jugs, not to mention much more pale
-
it just means we're both huge nerds with not much to do on this fine monday night
-
oh snap, i so beat you by seconds...
-
Andrew Bird will be opening the following Wilco shows: bummer about DD, but they're still doing a headlining gig here that night too
-
yeah, not that big on Rocky myself (he headlined that acoustic stage later that evening, meh) i'm lucky in that William plays up here a ton (i skipped him last week knowing i'd see him in CO)
-
saw him again at Monolith this past Sat. he had a pretty sweet turnout for being on the smallest stage!
-
i'm actually kinda surprised too... no it's not amazing, but it's certainly way better than i'd expected... that said, Wolfie still looks SUPER out of place and his harmonies on a few of the clips i've seen aren't very good
-
a new album? the last one wasn't great, but i'm excited to hear a new one still
-
love that record
-
the acoustic/ballady ones on here aren't all bad (one of them is shitty though), but like Bobbob pointed out, they're loaded in the 2nd half making for a bit of an uneven listen. had they spread 'em out, might have been even better of a record. i think i'm just kinda tired of Grohl at this point in a few ways, which hurts me to say it, but i see them just kinda treading water (albeit, doing quite well at that) these days...
-
save for a few songs i can't get into this one... i likes my Devendra dark, mysterious, and his voice a bit more nasally. not too into the whole salsa/tropicalia meets howdy doody style stuff on here, not to mention his voice sounds super wussy a lot of the times on it.
-
while it was (not surprisingly) heavy on the new stuff, their set tonight at Red Rocks for Monolith Festival might just have been the tightest set i've ever seen them do out of about 6 shows since '01... they actually were way better than the Lips (who were still incredibly fun/crazy)
-
jesus H that's funny shit... yeah, that is lame about Wal-Mart
-
i'll be at all of those shows too
-
certainly better than the last 2, maybe their best since The Colour, but it's still far from amazing, as the second half suffers compared to the first.
-
happy b-day jen!

^^ good Chicago band
-
apparently when they said "3 tracks are old", they did mean old, not just written years ago either link: http://download.rbn.com/rstone/rstone/down...inarypeople.mp3

damn... thanks at least while i like it, the synths are def super cheesey and it's gonna stick out like a sore thumb amongst the other 2007 tracks IMO...
-
that and i think Be With You
-
once again, Pitchfork = way behind
-
Silver & Gold is indeed his best this decade, but i still love Greendale only '00 album of Neil's i've not liked a ton was Are You Passionate, which had 2 killer songs, and some decent love songs, just not my thing fully.
-
yeah, i'm pretty skeptical that this is legit myself...
