I always liked it. A lot. But listening to it recently, it finally took me away to someplace else, like I always hoped that it would. Curious to hear the finished BB recordings now, but not enough to drop a shitton of cash. Not while the Brian Wilson release is so marvelous.

Nice cover tune. The guitar sounds beautiful, and I really like your voice. Reminds me a little bit of Ray Davies (no small compliment).

Yeah, just three (or 5 if you really can't narrow it). Let's try to keep it short and sweet: just the ones that you really love. Mine, in no real order: Yep - Once An album of almost entirely covers, done by a couple of guys who know how to breathe new life into classics without radically changing them. They just pull out all of these wonderful aspects, melodies, harmonies, and emotions that were always there that you never really noticed before. A brilliant record. Raphael Saadiq - Stone Rollin' A fresh take on old school soul, a la Sly Stone. From a man whose been doing it for a long tim

Last night Heaven Can Wait was on broadcast TV. I caught the last 45 min. or so of it and remembered how much I loved it. Also remembered how much I like Warren Beatty. Also remembered that I should probably go out and rent the original (Mr. Jordan) to see how it stacks up.

To answer the question: Yes. But not happily.

Folks are gonna just download that, anyway. They need to sell the whole package to make any money on the damn thing, methinks.

Great tension-building guitar solos

Yep. Umm hmmm. I thought that it was incredible, because I hadn't seen it. But it was there, all along. Incredible. -

I never saw that and I looked for MM, too. -

Last night son and I watched: Final Destination It was pretty good. A fun little horror/thriller. It's not one of those sadistic, slasher-type flicks (which I cannot stand), but a supernatural thriller with a few bloody murders. Enjoyable for Halloween night.

I didn't make this. I bought the very best chopped liver that I think exists in the world. From a place in Highland Park, IL called Shaevitz. Tons of garlic. Tons of onions. And tons of chicken fat. Oh yeah, this is NOT healthy food!

bump for new additions.

Supposed to bring in "scary" food to work today for Halloween. Most folks brought in decorated cupcakes and stuff like that. I brought in chopped liver. I think that I am probably the only one to genuinely scare folks with my treat. (I love this stuff!)

When you're old and lonely And the rush of life has passed The days go by too slowly And the years go by too fast... Freaking kills me.

This was my intro to the band, and it remains my favorite Mag Fields album, contrary to popular opinion. "You and Me and the Moon" "With Whom to Dance?" "Why I Cry" "When You're Old and Lonely" are all among my favorite songs of theirs. So great.

I almost always find street parking within a block or so of the MSI. But yeah, that south lot is a good option. -
