  1. Yep, I would love to be in a band and make a setlist every night. We are really lucky with Wilco though in the regard that they know how to play their entire catalog and there is no other band with the extensive catalog they have who is that versatile. That + nels clyne has made this band a force to be reckoned with as if they weren't a big enough force following the release of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. It's been fun watching them reach new levels. There was nothing like seeing America's Greatest Rock N' Roll band play some great tunes to their utmost perfection. I couldn't tell you how many
  2. I agree. I love the rare setlists but it was a festival. They definitely won some new fans over. I was just thrilled to see Misunderstood > Spiders. Wilco with the sun-going down in Tennessee summer... I don't think there's a better definition of pure bliss.
  3. Bonnaroo setlist on their site says "Kingpin -- Monday -- Outtasite"... which basically they ran out of time. I would say for a festival set, it was great. My highlights were: Bull Black -- the hair stood up on my arms when Jeff screamed at the end. The jam in ALTWYS was so tight and so loud. Great festival song. The cameraman plucking Spiders was hilarious. They played the intro to ITMWLY and the crowd went wild. Glenn didn't stand up. The crowd started screaming more and more, they played the riff again and he hopped out of his seat and on top of his kit and into a racous version of t
  4. Conflicts!!! Wilco got a great slot 6-8 pm on Saturday, before the Boss. However -- they are scheduled at the same time as the Decemberists! Terrible!

  6. Definitely the best set of the tour thus far. Sad and lonely!!!
  7. Row E in the Orchestra on the left side. Agreed, this beat musictoday hands down. That site was brutal, and never worked. I was actually surprised how efficient was. I think I checked out in under a minute
  8. Orchestra Row E for Wolf Trap; best luck in a pre-sale to date! waiting on the public sale for Wilmington... had a work meeting right at 10:05, sucks!
  9. I was spoiled and went to both 9:30 club shows Wolf Trap is going to be great; it's a beautiful venue and the lawn is great. You can bring all your own stuff/booze/etc. I will likely be going to Wilmington and to Wappinger's Falls. YEA!!!! Oh and the Roo.

  11. Heard that rumor too. God that would be amazing.
  12. :cheersHere, here northern new york!! I grew up on the St. Lawrence
  13. anyone have an extra for dc?? they didn't even release the date of the on-sale. they are rumored to add another show though. mpp on vinyl is freaking unreal. best i've heard in a while, right up there with yhf.
  14. Maybe they are going the "Touring Band" format, ala Pearl Jam's release in 2000. They filmed every show on tour and took individual songs to create a quasi-setlist for the DVD, which turned out to be phenomenal, and well done. Wishful thinking is all we can hope for!
  15. That was fucking amazing. Pardon my french but the expletive is completely necessary. I've never seen them rock Spiders that hard in the shows I've been to. Glenn and Nels were just WAILING away. I liked that more than Poor Places --> Spiders. Just magical.
  16. We have an excellent video of Jeff with the neckbrace on, which should be on YouTube within the coming days. Hands down on the funniest things I've ever seen at a show. Although the bra thrown on stage during HMD in DC was priceless.
  17. One of the best Wilco shows I've seen, aside from maybe DC #1. The sound was insanely good. My highlightes were IATTBYH --> Spiders. Sitting up in the balcony on Nels' side, I've never realized how hard Glenn hits the skins. It was the perfect view. Plus the general excitement of the band was beautiful. Jeff was in a great mood which makes for an entertaining and interesting time. 4 Wilco shows in 2008. They were too good to me!
  18. Got 2 in the tier row d, 2nd section from stage. i'm 6'3" so the ticket gods placed me strategically for you vertically challenged
  19. Yeah definitely agree. As Foggy mentioned, the policy is same with Warner Theater in DC. I got shut out. Congrats to the person who got 4, lucky! I would be a big supporter of Pearl Jam's fan club ticketing, where you have to be a paid member to get fan club seats. Kind of difficult because Wilco is not as large as PJ but it seems like they could generate some sort of policy so that their fans could get tix. As with the Ten Club, the actual purchaser has to go to the will call window to pick them up so it virtually eliminates most scalping because the people who want the awesome seats are a
  20. No luck for me either! only luck i've had was the Spectrum show with Neil, and got GA floor
  21. This has probably been discussed in the past, how could it not? Anyone know if the band ever plans to press this on vinyl? That would be so wild.
