Awesome post topic - wow. what a fantastic record. i remember being at the little league carnival, and wandering over to the record store across the street to buy it as a 12 year old. My purchase was loosely based on my older brother and radio airplay for "surrender". I stayed up most of that Friday night listening to that record, looking at the album jacket shots of Robin (so freaking cool), Rick (weird but magnetic), Bun e (science rock!), and Tom P (mr. suave). Later got into Dream police and their record before Budokan, but this live record was truly transcendant to me as a teenager. g

I'm registered Independent here in PA- I've probably voted dems all my life for Prez, but at other levels there are times I've gone 3rd party or Reuplican, if the candidate was worthy. If you had asked me 18 months ago, i would have bet Rudy would've been the big winner, and possibly have cast my vote as such. i think his primary strategy imploded due to his decision to forgo some early states....maybe other reasons as well....

i liked Easy Tiger alot, too, though I recall I was less than impressed at first couple of listens. I find that that most music takes time to seep in. ironically most of the music I like immediately soon grows stale. Is it me, or is this post beginning to sound like Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy???
