  1. Yep. That's me - a political science student. :rolleyes I'm so gullible I fall in love with anyone who can articulate the King's English so eloquently.

And speaking of Michael Moore - I would think you would have loved his appearance of Larry King, PANTHER. Especially the part where he said (I'm paraphrasing here), "What we're looking at with the decline in the financial and automotive industries is the collapse of American Capitalism as we know it...and I say 'good riddance'." Profound, huh?

I honestly didn't mean that as an insult I wish I took political science good for you. No I don't love those coments I think Mr. Moore is either insane confused or a disinformation agent, he says good riddence to American Capitalism I thought he was the man of the people well good riddence to millions of jobs, thats fucked what an asshole.

Call me crazy but I don't think the U.S.A is built for socialism . I suppose we'll just have to see how it goes. hopefully Obama has the people in mind.

    highwater everywhere

  2. Maybe Iran will "test" us, as Biden predicted someone might in the early Obama era. If I were them I might, if my actual goal as the nation of Iran was to get into a shooting war

That a very good assesment of the situation very rational. I find Bidens comments about Obama being tested to be insanely strange I suppose it could have just been a slip up but why the hell did he say that, can you imagine if he said that after the election it would have been even worse.

  3. Obama has done more than "well" - he ran the best campaign anyone alive has ever seen, and changed the way campaigns in the future will be run. He should be proud. But he seems well aware that the 2 year campaign was just the coin toss - now the heavy hitting begins.

Two years ago I was certain that Hilary Clinton would be the president I knew who Obama was and actually belived that he was anti-war.

I would definetly consider myself to be jadded because once it looked like he was wining I became skeptical and for good reason.

I still like what he has done in his past as a community organizer but besides his initial remarks against the war in iraq Obama has proven to be a another pro war democrat.

Did any of you catch Michale Moore on Larry King recently ? well he was going on about how amazing it is that the anti war canidiate actually won this time,

that is sad but fitting a fraud standing up for a fraud.

I dont get all the praise that he gets for his campaign, yeah it was amazing but so what. what are you a political science student who apriciates how good of a politician(liar) he is.

Does the fact that he has made campaigning more basic less about the issues and more about image than ever give you hope? I think it gives Palin a better shot for next time ,

or whatever other stooge the republicans come up with next. What we should learn from his campaign is that the internet can bring the rise of a third party.

After saying all that I am glad that Obama won and if we hold him responsible maybe they won't get away with another false war.

  4. For everyone who was liable to die in a vast nuclear war?

granted. but how long did it take to find a new enemy a new nuclear threat. Im of the opinion that the U.S.A has not had a real enemy since world war 2.

The cold war is very intresting ,years of threats but no war, Im not denying that the U.S.S.R was an oposition of the U.S.A but besides the cuban misle crisis

there was alot of fearmongering on both sides they fell you won. Was there truly a constant nuclear threat I supose thats way over my head Im sure if I got C.I.A briefings I would have a stable opinion on this. Let me ask you this, do you belive that Iran is a real threat to your country because as far as I can see the U.S.A is the one constantly pushing them.

Open Question does everyone here agree that a plane hit the pentagon? Cause a new investigation could clear that mess up.

  5. If Obama is the tool of the Bilderbergers/Illuminati/NWO, then I guess they are picking his cabinet people too. Now, what if Nader is part of the conspiracy too? After all, his unattractive petulance and strident annoyingness turns people off to his ideas, and isn't that what "they" want?

I dunt no man thats sounds kinda out there. Joking I supose thats possible I dont really like Nader all that much I mean he is a politician.

I personaly like what I know about Obamas history the fact that he has risen to power is intresting but he is in line with all of "they" at this point.

I mean its not some secret conspiracy it open and obvious CFR united states senate lol you know. Im not saying anything radical. Do I think that their is an international conspiracy being pushed by very wealthy people yes but politics is simply a game and Obama is simply doing well in his field Im sure hes proud of what he has done.

  6. I think psychopaths are behind most terrorist organizations. Governments manipulate them at their peril, though it could be argued that making Afghanistan as tough as possible for the Soviets brought a quicker end to the Cold War, making the world a much safer place on average.

Yea but safer for who? all these arguments are pro american the end of the cold war was a shift in power a victory for the west great for us but as George H.W Bush

said on september 11 1991 the end of the cold war gives us a real posiblity for a new world order.

If you deny the western MAFIA you are protecting it. If you deny the international conspiracy theoccult conspiracy you are protecting it.

  7. Well yeah I know that , Hes has run for president for the green party what are you talking about. Im saying hes the answer Im just saying liberals have turned on this guy in a weird way. By the way what is Obama claiming to be advancing nothing exactly, he won the presidency by saying the word "change".

By the way dose anyone here actually belive that Obama is the one picking his cabinet or secrtary of state or any of that shit.

Im sure he has influence but its not him it never is the public "him".

  8. The point being an attack by al-Qaida is a simpler explanation for the events of Sept. 11, 2001, than some sort of Zionist-neocon conspiracy to set bombs in buildings and suchlike.

right okay and thats fine but thats like saying well 9 out of 10 times there is no conspiracy , I see your logic but can you really aply it to specific situations and feel satisfied.

Im just intrested in the truth I think even people who are full out in saying "INSIDE JOB" don't realise what they are saying. If there were any western intrests in 911 happening at all then it completly changes the modern world and what is really going on, even if it was secret meetings of secrets meetings times 100 or weapons companies or w.e .

Even saying its al-qaida creates questions, you are aware that the U.S funded al-qaida threwought the 80s to fight the soviets.

Im not denying that there were terrorists involved but educate yourself on who is behind most terrorist organizations and you'll be even more confused I think.

They didn't provide an explanation, which was all that thousands of nutjobs needed to devise their own. See how that works?

honestly no I could'nt make sense of that. was that just a swipe at my poor sentences. Im intrested if you want to explain that again.

  9. Except that no one here has really come out against Nader for his message, just for his tactics. If he really wanted a competitive third party, then he would do something to build up a third party. He has done exactly zero to help the growth of a third party.

well I see what your saying but no hes done more than exactly zero hes done more than Obama of course.

  10. I wasn't until wikipedia 10 seconds ago http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam's_Razor

whats your point though? that the simplest explanation is most likely the right one?

"The principle states that the explanation of any phenomenon should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating those that make no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis or theory."

"A superficially simple phenomenon may have a complex mechanism behind it. A simple explanation would be simplistic if it failed to capture all the essential and relevant parts."

so which one is it and how dose it make sense of the things that don't make sense about 911, I think I see where your going with this but Im not exactly sure.

  11. And I said, no, I don't support a new investigation. I answered the question the same way Howard Zinn seems to have recently, saying no. Because we have other shit to deal with, like stopping terrorist attacks or (sadly) fighting two wars or saving an economy.

cool , but Zinn said he dose support futher investigation , then he made his comments about 911 fanatics. so yea for the most part you two agree I guesse but he said yes.

  12. If any of the conspiracy stuff is real, an "official" investigation isn't going to shed new light. The government won't change their tune. They have nothing to gain by doing so and quite a bit to lose.

agreed. I don't expect then to change their tune at all that should be obvious.

the question was do you a citzen support a new investigation, it clearly hypathetical considering the world we live in.

I honestly didn't imagine many people saying no, and I know only a few people voted so Im not going crazy here or anything.

  13. I am also totally with Howard Zinn on this one. A second investigation would come out with the same results, for better or (likely) worse. The 9/11 stuff in the realm of conspiracy is there because they want it there. Why would a second investigation change any of that? The important thing at this point is making sure it doesn't happen again.

You say your totally with Zinn but your clearly not. He is clearly an intelligent man and he said this "I have said that what happened on 9/11 deserves to be investigated more than it has been because I don

  14. If Nader was serious about doing anything to change American policies, economic or otherwise, he would have run for Congress or Senate, or lobbied for a cabinet position instead of running for President.

I disagree Ralph Nader is doing more by running for president than anything thing else. The point is that there despratly needs to be a third party in power to reverse the american empire and the sooner liberaals realise that the sooner we get real change. By the way all these personal attacks are insane you don't know these people you don't know Obama.

The way you all talk is really strange the judgments you make are out of line talk about the issue or the substence of what he is saying. You'll probaly find that you agree.

  15. :dancing

so what? laugh, thats so inane you realise that lol

Im not responsible for 911 or 911 conspiracy videos me saying I think a video is good when I didnt watch it yet dose nothing to affect anything.

My point was to get other people to watch it and see what they would say thats all. After I watched it I obviously had another opinion of that paticular video.

I don't really see your point.

  16. At the risk of sounding insensitive, I think this is being a little overplayed. Obviously the medium is different, but all sorts of people threaten to kill themselves and not many people take that seriously. I don't think I would have been in the room calling that guy a faggot or telling him to go through with it, but I can name at least fifteen kids from my high school class that likely would have. And I am almost certain that even I wouldn't have believed he was really going to do it until it was too late. I know none of that makes it less awful, but I don't think it is particularly any more awful than any kid that commits suicide. In my opinion, the time and ink spent on this story would have been better served discussing troop suicides.

Yes! Im not for mourning through media I thought the princess dianna stuff was bullshit and I thought columbine coverage was insane. People kill themselves everyday.

How about that story of that transexual women who gave birtth and is claiming to be the first pregnat man thats a better one.

P.S its very tragic, obviously, but that has nothing to do with why these stories get coveragei its all blood lust.

  17. Well, I fucked up and voted "yes" when I meant "no," so subtract one from the "yes" tally.

Totally with Zinn on this one.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry, no one seriously has a desire for a new investigation do you have any idea how poorly the first one was done.

Or are people just confused. By the way pal if your "totally" with Zinn on this one he said he would support a new investigation after he said he never belives the offical story.

I honestly don't belive you, how can you possibly agree with him when he said "I don

  18. this article and site dose not speak for me they just covered this story on recent comment from Howard Zinn

Zinn: 9/11 Truth Is For "Fanatics", Has "No Practical Political Significance"

New comments cause more outrage after leftist historian said he didn't care about what really happened on 9/11
