  1. Well, the U.S. has certainly stepped in it before, and will again, but let me posit this - if we get caught in between a dwindling oil supply and the post-oil energy world, would a militarily protected share of increasingly scarce oil seem like such a bad idea?

yea I think you got it right, and its a great idea from the neocon perspective Im sure thats the way they look at it.

BUTT... Im guessing your asuming that they would pump that money into the american economy when reality is they havent and they wont.

Its all corpate ownership from here on out and those corprate types dont care about soverignty or America clearly.

as far as my opinion on whether its a bad idea yes I think its a terrible idea to lie about threats from a country invade and kill hundreads of thousands of human beings.

    very terible

  2. I dunno. This is kind of like bathroom whacking-off material for self-hating Americans, isn't it?

granted, and maybe the hypatheticals offered in this article cater to that audience but that dosent change the facts.

which most importantly are that the current administation and many of its supporters are tying up america in unessary conflicts and are provoking more of the same.

I think the point that this article makes is that eventualy the consequences will arise and that is inevitable pending dramatic change.

  3. Do you have a version cleaned of the unnecessary rhetoric?

nope lol I was actually going to put warning anti goverment rheroric in the title but I thought that would make up to many minds.

I think the article is intresting none the less. The reason I posted it was because it shook me at first and I know their are politicaly inteligent people on this board

so I figured I could gain some perspective. I hate being trapped in my own head when I read stuff on this scale.

  4. Source?

Paul Craig Roberts [send him mail] a former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury and former associate editor of the Wall Street Journal, has been reporting shocking cases of prosecutorial abuse for two decades. A new edition of his book, The Tyranny of Good Intentions, co-authored with Lawrence Stratton, a documented account of how Americans lost the protection of law, has just been released by Random House.

The article already had a name attached but yea this is who wrote it. I dont realy get the Michale Jackson with breats photo, funny thoygh

  5. Again I'm left asking, Does Hillary Clinton think we're all stupid?

Yes, Hillary Clinton thinks we are all stupid. (watch out for sniper fire) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rysGfGPjJ9A

Hillary Clinton is the real elitist and their is no disputing that.

More importantly significant from this episode though is Obamas reluctunce to call her on this. My point if Hilary Clinton called Ralph Nader an elitist he would have ammunition for days pointing out her bullshit spin, her globalist ties, her ugly ambitions and her well LIES. Instead Obama plays into the political rhetoric safely. The media has lead us to believe that the democratic cannadidates have been destroying eachother but reality is they havent. This has lead me to belive they are one in the same. I could be wrong and Obama might be doing what he has to do not rocking the boat, talking about "special intrest" without actualy talking about special intrests. I suppose time will tell.

here is a fun game we can play, everyone name the non elitist american presidents that they can think of.

I loose with zero, your turn.

  6. I think this has been significant as a transition , along with the return of older material live. It is as if it's the duty of this band(lineup) to play these songs.

Its like a new band that enharits 6 albums of material. Its very exiting for me as a fan to be witnessing this.

In my opinion Jeff has been very smart to do what he has done with the band transition wise.

I thought Sky Blue Sky was a brilliant statement(which is where most of my love for it comes from) to settle in the way they have

to conquere the live stage the way they have gives them the pedigree to shoot off to the moon with the next record"the sky is the limit" I love that saying.

  7. Amnesiac is better than OK Computer?..... dem fightin' words

Yea I think so , but I meant Kid A and Amnesiac both, They are sorta Radioheads only Double album if you will.

But yea I think they are far better than Ok Computer, I dig the groves over the compositions.

I also think In Rainbows is better as a album than Ok Computer.

Ok Computer has those moments that are just so great, Im not bashing it at all.

  8. I really love this record its sounds like mini BSS but its great. Spiral Stairs from Pavement plays the outro guitar on one song.

Its like Kevin Drew got to make the dream album he wanted to make when he was 15 or something. Tom Cochrane gotta love the canadiana.

  9. I read they recorded it after a Jeff Buckley concert, the influence is clear. That entire record is a classic its strange to think how good radiohead really are in context of all their records. I mean the bends is a classic and Ok computer is even better and Kid A and Amnesiac is even better and Hailf to the theif is incredible and In Rainbows is better than the bends and Ok computer.

The best british band since you know who... is all Im sayin

like I said I need to see this show. Once again thanks

  12. yea, maybe theres nothing more to say about this guy. Just as someone who knows his work threw and threw but is not a outright promoter of his work I thought I could shed some knew light on this topic. As for him being "young" the guys like 28 now and Cassadaga isnt realy all that whiny its sorta beautiful especially Lime Tree.
