Perfect example of why I no longer get worked up about the RRHOF and who is/isn't inducted. The simple fact is that induction is based on popularity and commercial success (with very few exceptions). It's no more meaningful than a Billboard award.

Wife and I recently started The Wire. She's never seen it and I only caught on to it the last 1.5 seasons. We're most of the way thru season 1 and it is every bit as great as I remember. So very much worth it!

I think Devo was much more influential to other 80's New Wave bands than the Go-Go's, especially given that they only lasted what - 4 or 5 years? Yes, the Go-Go's had bigger hits than Devo but I don't believe that's the most important criteria.

I personally think Devo deserves to be in the RRHOF much more than The Go-Go's

This took me by surprise. Very, very good. Though I think the deeper meaning will be lost on most kids, it’s a great movie for adults of any age.

The Highwomen (Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Amanda Shires) just won Song of the Year, Group/Duo of the year, and album of the year at the Americana awards. Worth checking out if you haven't already.

Just realized this is on YT. This is such a great doc at such an important phase of their career.
