Just think of how raw and underdeveloped Late Greats was when they played it last at the Auditorium shows in September of 2003 before AGIB came. That song underwent a pretty wholesale transformation for the better. I'm sure that On & On & On will similarly be developed a bit more.
-
I think that including the song would have made it stick out like a sore thumb (similar to peoples' complaints of "I'm a Wheel" on AGIB) . . . it just doesn't "fit" with the feel of the other songs . . .

Side With The Seeds just sounds like a perfect album closer . . .

Anytime (Studio) Lowdown (Live) Knot Comes Loose (Studio) (weird choice, but I love it). That is all.

Considering it's Rolling Stone, that's asking a lot, wouldn't you say?
-
Hopefully they re-worked it. The previous version sounded very, very bland (but it did have a lot of potential).

But I seriously could not name 20 guitarists that have come within the past 10 years that I would consider a "guitar god." You have to extend it past 10 years.
-
But OK Computer was 10 years ago . . .
-
Also, I think the fact that On & On & On hasn't been in the live rotation in about year suggests that the band has put it aside for now. Otherwise, I'm thinking that we would have heard a more developed version by now.

Any on-sale info?

Looks like we have some Canadian dates thus far (Kyle posted them in another forum) . . . any official word on U.S. dates and on-sale dates?

For those fans in Chicago hoping to see the Police this summer, they're scheduled to play Wrigley Field on July 7th and 8th. Expect an announcement soon. That is all.

You mean as opposed to . . . say . . . "I'm A Wheel?"
-
Jesus, I didn't even see your post. I'm really screwing your over, huh? Sorry about that. Anyway, I still can't figure out how in the world Morneau.
-
Y'all wrong . . . (unless ESPN 1000 is wrong).
-
Yeah, had they skipped this little bit drama at the end they would have time to play the Mariner's Revenge Song as the audience wanted. There is no reason that a band with this large of a catalogue should be relegated to such a short show (particularly the encore). Otherwise, the show was fantastic.

Sorry, I meant AL . . .

How someone who is not even the MVP on his own team can win the MVP of the entire American League is beyond me. Also, the voter who voted Jeter 6th for MVP should have his voting privileges suspended. Unbelievable. Trivia -- Anyone know when the last time two players from the same team won both the Cy Young and MVP (and name the players)?

Still No. 2 in the BCS and AP.

$17 million a year for 8 years is a little steep for a CF who has never played the position before. What's next, $15 million over 5 years for Jason Schmidt?
-
The best part of the process (and I'm only speaking in terms of last year, because I didn't participate two years ago) is how incredibly cool people are in terms of who gives what. Like you said, some people could only give what they could afford. Those that gave more (sometimes substantially more) realized it was for charity first and foremost and no grief was given others. It was actually quite a nice experience/process.

I want one thing and one thing only . . . "Pot Kettle Black" with the actual guitar part included. Why they haven't mastered this with Nels is beyond me . . .

You're right next to me and my fiance. Be gentle . . .
