Fortunately that Cavalier will die.

100% true statement right there. I wonder if the Republicans tried to force Mike Huckabee to run again. Probably would done well this time, just on likability alone.

There is a tremendous difference in taking a military action and undertaking a war, and there is not a president in modern history that would not have done what Obama did in Libya...or more. Do you really want to live in a world where Gaddafi and his sort go unchecked?

Have you tried listening to Blood on the Tracks? That's usually the album that sends casual Dylan fans over the edge, into obsession.

I've been chomping at the bit for opening day since the day after the World Series ended. Let's go already!

Hanley Ramirez wouldn't be enough to get Miguel Cabrera straight up. Hell, Jose Reyes wouldn't be enough.

Whoever signs Josh Hamilton to a long-term contract will be protected by MLB's player personal conduct provision, and most likely any additional provisions as agreed to by both the team and Hamilton. Monetarily, he is more of a risk due to his penchant for getting injured than for failing a drug test.

It's probably nutty to try to do those things all at the same time.

So do I. I like his vocals best on Being There.

This makes the Nationals signing of Jayson Werth last off-season look even worse. They signed him as an indication to upcoming top free agents that the Nationals were serious about spending the money to win. Werth was supposed to be a guy to slide into the five or six slot when they signed true stars like Fielder. This is really the player that Washington should have added this off-season, but they let it drag out and he went to Detroit. I can understand not wanting to go nine years on a player, but once Werth is signed, the commitment is made to spend more. Werth is a complimentary player, no

They were all free agents, except Zambrano. More comparable is Verlander, who has better stats and will make $20M in 2012. I think the Giants will "win" their arbitration offer of $17M to Lincecum. He should not get paid more than a 24 game winner, Cy & MVP, non-pot smoker. I think better options for Tigers DH could be Ibanez, a FA, or trading for Bobby Abreu, the odd man out on the Angels. For whatever reason, the Astros are going to sign Jack Cust for two years. They won't need a DH until 2013, and this guy is done anyway. If Cust gets a two year contract, Vlady ought to get five!

I replaced my 3s with a 4s today. It's a hell of a lot faster and louder, which is great for listening to music w/o earbuds. I take it from other threads that you don't work for a major company, but you may still want to ask if you can get a discount on service through your employer. iPhone's are super simple to use, but can handle quite a load. My only complaint is still no Flash video capability, but even so, it rarely affects my experience.

Liked and shared. Best of luck! I admire her courage. Almost ten years a friend of mine gave up. She was wrong, but it changed how I view everything, including myself. Keep up the great work! -
