MLK the Third and some former Met players have an interest in owning a small portion of the New York Mets. -
Thanks for the professional advice. But like I said, I'm a non-handyman. Therefore: Pole-sand? Scuff? This is the kind of thing that'll make me feel like Jules is right. Again.

Soon as I saw your name my first thought of what your response would be: "Pay someone else to do it."

Aware! Oh, I'm aware! Does Home Depot sell other brands? Our local HD has never done well here and has announced they're closing my local store. Liquidation began today. I was hoping to find good stuff at a bargain. Thanks.

My living room is all white. I'm going to color it up a bit by complimenting the existing white with a bold color around the fireplace. I've helped paint before, but I always just helped with the painting, not the preparations. I know about drop cloth and the blue tape. Do you match up the style of the new paint with the existing, as in flat with flat, glossy with glossy? Since the existing color is white, do I even need primer? How many gallons per square feet of wall? Best style of brush, fine or thick, etc.? Any other simple advice for a non-handyman kind of guy? Thanks in advance for

No problem with me. I was just clarifying after checking the notes before I posted. Charlie did the opposite. No big deal, folks. If you go by the album cover, the radio brand is Reprise.

It is not in the liner notes of A.M.

Off topic curiosity: If you had an avatar, what would it be? -
You totally made that up, but I found this: Panasonic. Above the dial is an interesting phrase: "Solid State"

Probably not, but when Sam Jones asked him if it hurts to scream like that, Jeff said no. He could turn it up an octave (plus get the crowd excited) if he were to grab his nuts when he does it.

True, but the past few years the Angels have also acquired Haren, Kazmir, Hunter and Guerrero without the usual rampant preceeding rumors. No other team has a track record of maintaining in-house discussions. -

The Angels should have also sent along a couple of prospects to the Jays in exchange for about $15-20MM to help pay for Wells. L.A. still has Hunter, Abreu and three of the top OF prosepects in the game, so I don't understand taking on the entire contract. If you going to pay that kind of coin, why not offer it to Crawford and then seperately trade Rivera and Napoli (who also could have been non-tendered). Gotta give credit to the Blue Jays. They got completely out of the contracts of Wells, Rios and Halladay, along with most of Scott Rolen's. Now they need to show restraint by not blowing -
