with Lowrie in the fold I wonder why the Sox would want Greene, I like Greene quite a bit but he is a .248 career hitter and has only had over 500 at bats one season out of the five full seasons he has been in the show

my wife comes from a Carolina house (her Dad is a UNC alum and is from NC) so she is a big fan so I have adopted UNC as my second fav team, they should be pretty awesome this year, final 4 or bust, Texas, Duke, Pitt, and Louisville should all be pretty good as well, some sleepers to look out for I think are OU, Tennessee, and Arizona

How long did you wait in line to vote?

I waited about 5 mins -
I'd love a good MLB too to go with Sims

If my Rangers dont get A.J. Burnett, Lowe, Garland, Penny, or Sheets or some decent vet starting pitcher I might need a straight jacket

I'm right there with ya! Two of the top 20 picks would be nice, Im rooting for the Cowboys to miss the playoffs cuz that only helps the Lions with that draft pick of Dallas's they have I would love to see the Lions trade down and trade the 1st or 2nd pick overall that they will have so they can get an extra pick, this could be an awesome draft if they play their cards right, they could build depth very quickly with 5 picks in the first 3 rounds and maybe more if they trade down, thank God Matty is gone...please draft defense and O line!!

Like good NFL teams just find a way to win the Lions just find a way to lose

I will go with Cobwebs Whats everyone elses fav? -
Blake and Eric Wedge are close friends, Blake back in Cleveland wouldnt be a huge surprise at all
-
Buehrle has a decent shot, I would worry about his IP though the last few years but I could see him making a run as well especially with the stuff he has, he should end up well over 200 unless he gets seriously hurt
-
Johan and CC are probably the only pitchers under 30 with a decent shot at 300 wins, CC has 117 wins at 28 years old which is a pretty good pace, if he stays in good shape he has a shot, you have to worry about CC's weight at some point though Johan is a little behind that pace, he will be 30 on opening day in 2009 and has 109 wins, Johan wasnt a full time starter until he was 25 though, CC was in Clevelands rotation when he was 20, what Johan has done the last 5 years though has been incredible in this day and age, he is far and away the best pitcher in baseball IMHO, I might even take Roy
-
Id be shocked if the Mets resign Perez, someone will overpay for him and give him a 3-4 year deal Sabathia better than Johan? Wow tough call, I think I take Johan based on his nasty changeup but its very close
-
If my Rangers can end up with Ben Sheets or AJ Burnett and either one is healthy and can get like 25-30 stars next years the Rangers can contend for the wild card, Id also love to get Joe Crede or Casey Blake to play 3rd, a good left handed set up guy like Jeremy Affeldt, and maybe a CF so they can move Josh Hamilton to RF...maybe like Mark Kotsay

Cam Neely is a legend but its hard not to think "kick his ass C Bass" when you see him! -
I know Macha took them there in 2006 but that 2K3 team should have been in the WS with you or I as the manager

What the best seats you had for a concert?

Front row to the left-Counting Crows 2nd row center- Ben Folds Five 3rd row center-Ryan Adams -
that sounds Bobby Knightish
-
the same Ken Macha who couldnt get to the World Series or even the ALCS with Tim Hudson, Barry Zito, Mark Mulder, Ted Lilly, Keith Foulke, Eric Chavez, and Miguel Tejada all in their primes? Really Brewers? What Art Howe didnt want the job?
-
I wish I could agree but look at the last few WS champions... Phillies-Lidge Red Sox-Papelbon Cards-Wainright (who was great as the closer when Izzy got hurt) Ch Sox-Bobby Jenks you need that hammer in the 9th
-
why would who need Tek? Yes Laird is underrated, not amazing or an all star but solid this is correct
-
Pudge/I Rod what have you is a Yankee right now
-
Does Tek have 3 years left? Maybe two as a .230 hitting catcher, he really has nothing to prove and should walk away while he can still walk
-
woo hoo, I love me some hot stove! I think CC will be a Yankee, I know he wants to be in the NL so he can hit but the Yankees will be able to offer him a lot of dough, also he would fill out that rotation very well with the 3 young guys (Joba, Hughes, Kennedy)....the Cubs should let Kerry Wood and Ryan Dempster leave via free agency and go after CC but I dont see it happening somebody will overpay for Casey Blake, he is a solid 3rd basemen and those are hard to find, he could end up back on the Indians with Wedge who he is close with, Im a Texas Ranger fan and we need pitching big time b
