  1. Thank you othersongs and thank you Wilco...
  2. Yes...for both the wood and Lucite versions...I do believe it comes with a "single-blade" pick-up and the inter-changeable "double-blade" is sold separately. Not sure about positioning the pick-up anywhere between the bridge and neck...or, at least it's not an option on the reissue.
  3. Thanks for the input Moss...but I'm looking for those who have set specific digits on the '69 or the reissue...I would and could go days on those who have seen an heard...but I want those retaining first experience... EDIT: Sorry, might have had a couple drinks when the rudeness came out...my apologies
  4. I have been looking into the '69 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite guitar and have yet to chat with anybody who has had the opportunity to play the original or the recent reissues. Anyone?
  5. I don't think he does...have you seen the latest Rolling Stone cover?
  6. 1. Being There 2. A Ghost is Born 3. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 4. Summerteeth 5. Sky Blue Sky 6. A.M. 7. The Album
  7. wonderful photo of a fantastic instrument!
  8. Yeah, it was pretty good...the singer looked a stitch awkward...and Garcia Jr. should take a step back every now and then...we get it..
  9. Maybe someone will make your decade in that week and a half...that's why I'm waiting...
  10. I'll get back to you in 2010...the decade isn't over.
  11. Did they tour? Or do any live TV spots? I don't remember hearing/seeing anything and I'm kind of interested in their live abilities... EDIT: I guess I should hit before asking questions such as this...
  12. Not sure how many of these band names are actual bands but Don Knotts Overdrive poked me into uncomfortable...not sure if I need to reference Don from Three's Company or Andy Griffith...
  13. Thanks for the update - I'm not sure which is worse: the fact that Christopher Cross re-recorded his own "hits" or that he is friends with Michael McDonald?
  14. But having Pat bring the string bends at the end is what makes this a great version in this posters view.
  15. Interesting to look through the years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_for_Album_of_the_Year Great link..I wonder what Christopher Cross is up to these days?
  16. I thought that album was great! Yeah, it's not a rocker but there are some great vocals and grooves implemented by two very different personalities...plus, T Bone Burnett is a hell of a producer. But, to each their own...
  17. Where do you find a large print such as this of BD?
  18. I like to see BBN as a new favorite among many posts...I always gear for Kingpin, partly because it's the only time Nels pulls out a Gibson (I may be wrong)...plus it has some fun crowd participation. Also, any Pat on guitar songs...Walken, Monday...etc.
  19. Loving Cup has been in their set-lists throughout the years, and it's done very well...yet again.
  20. I will say that I am very happy with the quality and playability with my Les Paul Standard...it was always my dream guitar, I got it, I love it and always will...but as far as future solid-body electric purchases go, Gibson will not be on my list. As far as acoustics, my brother owns a Gibson Songwriter Deluxe and he loves it...It plays well, great sound but we are both moving on to much bigger and better things and customizing acoustics with our friend, Luthier Gordy Bischoff. I know not everyone can afford a custom made acoustic, and frankly I'm still not sure I can, but I think this is the
  21. Agreed...anytime Pat starts marching or doin' his rock poses...I'm happy! See you all in Madison in February!
