  1. Haven't seen them live yet, but I did see them (2/3) play Neil Young's "Love is a Rose" at a friends wedding...
  2. I saw Glenn outside of a record store in Madison two years ago. I'm always hesitant on approaching someone with celebrity status, I guess it depends on the day but I assume it's bothersome...so I just told him to have a good show. He turned and waved looking at me like "geez, where'd he come from."
  3. I'm pretty sure pre-sales only include a portion of total tickets available...so once tickets go on sale to the public there will be more. According to my computer clock it was 9:59 and I got two...sorry.
  4. So, I'm going to guess you don't have a camera?
  5. How could they not play LET'S PUT THE X IN SEX?
  6. Jay Farrar was allegedly contacted by Nora Guthrie to take the Mermaid Avenue reigns. CHECK IT
  7. Although it would be damn cool to see Phish do YHF, my guess/vote is for Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers....but, then again, KID A would be tits.
  8. I'm going to agree with the majority here. There are better Tweedy-Names you could go after as previous posters have exampled, but if I were you I would pick/create something that's more personal and thus, original. For example, here's a good one if you have a southern-twang-rock-jam thing going: Blue Sky's Rusty Nugget. Or, if you have a dance-guitar funk-sass band: Gary and the Pink Socks. Or, just use your "porn" name...those are always good...mine: Pepper Westridge.
  9. The sale was definitely early...but I was there and got 2...
  10. They invited fans from night one to come out to the theater...some were chosen to wear the Nudie suits, while one was holding the cake...everyone else formed a line to "get in" the theater while the photographer took shots...
  11. So far I haven;t seen or heard anything being used from the Pabst Theatre photo shoot......anybody?
  12. Any other photos from the sleeve you can share? Including the fans in Nudie suits?
  13. Seeing it would be overly greedy of me to ask them to come back to Milwaukee...Madison would be happy to accommodate!
  14. Number one as of now...active bass line and some fun Glenn stuff...I dig...
  15. 1. Hummingbird 2. Kingpin 3. Red-Eyed and Blue
  16. I was expecting a Pat jam at the end of the song like they did at Lolla last summer...basically, I agree
  17. I'll be there with my dog very soon...looking forward to something special
  18. Agree with you 87% catfish...I know it's a live tune, it's new and I am unaware of your band up until this point, but it's a song with great potential. It could use this, it could use that, but the more you play with it and test it with live audiences I assume it can only be a fantastic song. Point me in the direction for more info on your band...Yes, I'm lazy...
  19. I didn't realize anybody watched the show...I watched it once because Gov't Mule was the house band...never again, never again...
  20. How good of a friend is it? They must not care too much for you if they are ditching you for the front row...and why didn't you go with? Maybe they are mad at you for not joining them in the front row. My vote for the phantom poll: Just go with this person you've referred to as a friend.
  21. I've been a riff heavy listener as of late so a handful of tracks off of AM have been playing my record...it's hard for me to get beyond Casino Queen...the thickness and the tones are simply head-wiggling...
