  1. Going both nights, hoping for a heavy amount of Summerteeth tonight! Also, heading over to Jaks for some pre-game.
  2. I'm really hoping they add a few Florida or possibly a New Orleans date in the spring...road trip.
  3. Peter Grosz was excellent by the way...
  4. What a wonderful experience all around. I thought it was a great setting for a show and Sue couldn't have been nicer when taking requests. I was SO HAPPY when he played "So Much Wine" as that was my only request. I requested that one for my wife. Anyways, loved the Sunken Treasure/Mountain Bed beginning, I don't think he could have started with two better songs. Well worth it, great times...Oh, and Goose Island to boot!
  5. Heard "Either Way" at Goose Island Pub in Wrigleyville, made my day.
  6. Not sure if this is worth anything, but I thought we could all kick up some requests for next Saturday's show at the Emanuel Congregation. Here are a few I'd like to hear... Car's Can't Escape Pecan Pie So Much Wine (Handsome Family cover) You Are My Face (love hearing Jeff do this one solo) New Madrid Forget the Flowers I know someone usually takes requests prior to the show, but, I guess I just wanted to get my requests in since I won't be there as early as most. Anyway, I hope this is cool with all you VC'ers.
  7. Tickets say from 8-11, I bet he'll play from 9-11 or so with a break in between. Hoping he'll play a Handsome Family cover again!
  8. I got 2 in sec 209 row A, so I cancelled my other order. This will be a good weekend!
  9. I got 2 in sec 210 row H...hope those are good!
  10. Just my two cents, I think Nels is fantastic. The guy gives it his all every night and is amazing to watch perform. This thread is ridiculous.
  11. I hope there is a pre-sale this week!
  12. He is very good, looking forward to seeing him in Chicago this time around.
  13. 53 auction items on eBay already, what a joke. I wonder who is going to open, I'd actually prefer Wilco as a lone act for these shows.
  14. I'll be making the trip from Chicago, only 6 hours!
  15. Got 2 in section 115 row C! Hoping for St. Paul tix as well. This is shaping up to be a wonderful October!
  16. I got 2 in Section 115, row M. Very excited. All we can do is not buy from these moron Ticket Brokers. All venues should do what the Pabst did and not give tickets until the day of the show. I hate ticket brokers.
  17. Any suggestions for a good reserved seating view?

  19. UIC seems like a rather large venue, then again this will give more fans a chance to get tickets which is awesome. Looking forward to this very much!
  20. Just got my tickets!!! Woo Hoo, can't wait!!!
  21. I am anxiously awaiting to hear word on some Chicago dates. Has anyone heard, are they going to do a residency this summer? Very eager to get tickets...
  22. I'll be honest, at first listen I was not really impressed. As I listened the 2nd, 3rd , etc time, this album is truly amazing. I love everything about it from beginning to end. I can't understate the passion felt when listening to "I'LL Fight", I think one of Jeff's better lyrical works. I am so glad I listened to the stream, cannot wait to hear these live. Amazing work! Much more thought out than SBS.
  23. Very refreshing, I wish more venues would do this.
  24. KEEP trying, I just had 2 in the balc and let them go
