  6. The Beatles: A fascinating, 10-minute 'Revolution' mysteriously appears Feb 23, 2009, 06:03 PM | by Rob Brunner Over the past couple of days, Beatles fanatics have been chattering about an amazing outtake that recently leaked onto the Internet. The 10-minute-plus recording of "Revolution" (embedded below) offers a fascinating look at the wildly ambitious plans the band originally had for the song, eventually included in much shorter form on The White Album. "As someone who's heard, I'd say, 99.8 percent of the Beatles music that has leaked onto bootleg, this is really interesting," says Richie

    Wilco Vinyl

I was just listening to this today and thought the same thing. Ha. Wilco on vinyl is something that everyone should experience. Just beautiful...
  9. I though he looked like he was going to cry. He kind of quivered a few times. At least that's the way I saw it.
  10. Just to add a few points, didn't it seem like Jack was about to cry through the whole thing? Do you think there is more going on with Jack and Meg then we know? Conan was acting like he got Led Zeppelin back together. I thought the performance was below average but it seemed like something else was going on there. Also, m_thomp, Jack White is still extremely relevant. The Raconteurs are one of the best rock bands out there right now. The fact that a side project can be that amazing shows just how talented JW is. I could go on and on over this topic but I won't. I was actually one of those peo
  11. I was just kidding. Just trying to scam 50+ DVDs
  12. I...um....don't know how to use torrents either. ::cries and cries until 50+ DVDs arrive at my doorstep::
  13. One last note. Here are the pics I took that night. These I'm pretty sure I can share. Enjoy. http://picasaweb.google.com/bcart79/JeffTw...feat=directlink
  14. And I got about a dozen copyright infringement e-mails from Warner Brothers
  15. Alright all, point taken. The Video's are off YouTube. Never was it my intention to rip anyone off. Just wanted to share. Sorry Jeff.
  16. Alright all, point taken. The Video's are off YouTube. Never was it my intention to rip anyone off. Just wanted to share. Sorry Jeff.
  17. Yes, did I bother you? I very much hope not. My intention is always to pass stuff along to those who couldn't be there. If I took anything away from anyone's time I would feel very bad.
  18. I can understand what you mean about people and their cameras. When I shoot stills or video I hold the camera as close to my body as I can and make sure that it's in front of me so as not to ruin the view of anyone behind me. I'm always very conscious of the people around me. I sat both nights with people I didn't know who waited all day in line for the show. None of them seemed to be bothered by what I was doing and I offered to pass on what I took and we exchanged e-mails and they seemed very happy. That is all.
  19. No, thank you!!! What a fantastic night. Sorry to hear he wasn't feeling well. I guess a little injection of Jeff is always the best medicine.
  20. He basically said that Sue worked there and was the owner and he used to go down there and see her a lot. On one occasion he was walking down and wanted some pie and therefore wrote Pecan Pie. He joked about how people have probably been trying to find a deeper meaning in that song but it really is just about wanting some pie. Funny little moment.
  21. Did anyone notice the two mics on each side of the stage? Would these be used to do a matrix with the soundboard? I'm a idiot when it comes to that kind of stuff.
  22. All of them are up above now. Enjoy. I also went tonight and got a bunch. Will post in the other thread tomorrow. Time to go out get drunk and find a Valentine.... Not very romantic is it Also, I don't have the whole show. Just tried to get as much as I could and still enjoy just being there. Trying to hold a tiny camera very still when you want to groove is very hard at times. But reliving the show days and years after is worth it. These two show were my first Tweedy shows and they were amazing. Loved every second.
  23. I'm actually looking for a ticket but I think I found one. Still waiting on a call. I heading over there no matter what so I should be able to find one. I live just a few blocks down from the Vic. I didn't want to spend that much for both shows but after last night I have to go tonight.
  24. I'll take one. Give me a call and I'll meet you before the show. I plan on being in line about 6pm. 312-810-6028
