Recorded this last week, just got around to viewing. A good film with a surprisingly controversial premise considering it was filmed in the early 60s; (Young couple seeking an abortion). There's some great scenes throughout and strong performances by both Wood and McQueen. One scene in particular should be seen by any fan of either of these actors. Hated the ending, but it's certainly not a waste of time viewing.

Thankfully, I kinda doubt that's true.

The Shipping News: "Nine Bodies Nine States" Also... Sebadoh "Sforzando!" and a track of the Breeders Last Splash record...I forget the title.

That record is new interpretations of his old material. That said, just stick with the originals.

This was very cool.

This post is kinda magical and exhausting all at once.

They're supposed to release a new one later this year and I'm looking forward to it. I woke up with "Salvadore Sanchez" in my head this morning. No idea what I was dreaming to evoke that. NP:

Because it was very, very bad. IMO anyway.

I've said it before but that's probably my favorite Hitch-Flick. Yup. NW: Light stuff. Turturro trying way to hard to channel Pachino. Although I love Binoche in just about everything I've ever seen her in (which is really only a handful of films).

Huh...I'll try this.

Surreal.

Tks. I suppose it doesn't really matter, I'll be compelled to read it some point anyway.

I haven't bought a graphic novel/collection in 4-5 yrs. Pretty sure I need that. How is it? NR:

I seem to remember you mentioning you had been there that night. Not that I would have noticed...I'm pretty sure I had a death grip on Carl's monitor buy the second or third song. I'll be at the Pavilion show along with my nephews. One of which looks a bit like the Bear on the cover of "It Still Moves" in horned rim glasses. Pretty sure he's taller too. If you haven't heard James' version of "Hot Burrito #1" off KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic shoot me a PM... It's about as stunning.
