  1. Who owns the rest? I think it use to ABC. Is that correct? (The first one I recall watching was the 1972 Summer Olympics.)
  2. That would be cool. I am surprised there is not such a channel.
  3. There should be an Olympic Channel. They could run past Olympics, documentaries about the athletes, etc., and total live coverage during the present day games.
  4. Unless they can provide documented provenance, I would not buy any of that stuff. I believe Mr. Krown was working with Dylan around 1961 or so. I think he received a guitar from Dylan that is now owned by Paul Allen. So I suppose there is some history there to go on.
  5. I wondered what the deal was when Jerry's new show came on all of a sudden (I missed the announcement): NBC awkwardly and abruptly ends Olympic coverage
  6. I decided to buy the new Volume of The Road Trips series. I don't think I have bought a GD cd since Three From The Vault. It's up early again: Taper's Section (March 1- March 7, 2010)
  7. Palin: Health summit would have been better with beer Funny title - but later on she says:
  8. Rush was suppose to play during the opening ceremonies, but the segment they were to be a part of was cut. There were also rumors that they would play during the closing ceremonies. I guess those were not true.
  9. Neil Young is performing right now. He is doing Long May You Run.
  10. Sorry - You can learn how to steal music for yourself if you do a search on Google. Search using something like this: how to find mp3 on Google If you wanted a robe and wizard hat would you steal them yourself, or would you ask someone else to steal them for you?
  11. I can offer you a link to the demos for the album, how about that? Chelsea Walls Demos
  12. I don't know the extent of your problems, nor do I need to know - but Amazon has it: Chelsea Walls [soundtrack] It's not really a good idea to post on here asking for commercially available music by Wilco, or made by members of Wilco.
  13. Used - I won't really buy used cds. I use to years ago, when I could look at them in the store.
  14. The Vaudeville Years of Fleetwood Mac: 1968 to 1970 This one is up to 80 bucks now, I paid 12 bucks for it: Jumping at Shadows: The Blues Years
  15. They did a great version of Wild Horses. Supposedly, Gram was the main motivator behind the Stones doing country music. Or so Keith says.
  16. He must have got a time machine. I am generally not a fan of parts being added to songs (long) after the song was made. I think Gram only played music with Keith. But then again, I have heard rumors that he is actually on some Stones songs. Of course, a lot of work for Exile was done in L.A. I use to think it was all recorded live in the basement of Keith's house, but that is not true.
  17. Dolly Parton - Dumb Blonde Dolly Parton - Early Morning Breeze Dolly Parton - My Blue Ridge Mountain Boy Dolly Parton - I Wish I Felt This Way At Home Dolly Parton - Gypsy, Joe, and Me Dolly Parton - Joshua Dolly Parton - The Bridge Dolly Parton - Daddy Come And Get Me Porter Wagoner & Dolly Parton - Tomorrow Is Forever Dolly Parton & Porter Wagoner - Better Move It On Home Porter Wagoner & Dolly Parton: Just Someone I Used To Know
  18. It is a bit nuts, that is for sure.
  19. A tale of the cursed cd. I got that cd from the place you suggested. It turned out to be the one I already had. They had the wrong photos with the right description - or something like that. Time passed. I sent it back. Some more time passed. They sent me another one. It turned out to be the same one I already had (again). I gave it away - instead of messing with it anymore. I found one on Amazon again - for 70 bucks. I decided that was too much. I found one one Ebay - starting bid 5 bucks. I put down 20 bucks. Time passed. I got outbid by 50 cents. I found an
  20. I saw that the other day. I forgot to post the news.
  21. He put a covers album over his former bandmates? (Big surprise - another old guy making a covers album). Genesis Says Peter Gabriel Missing Rock Hall Induction Is No 'Snub'
  22. I think I recall in the liner notes of one of the re-masters that they were not to fond of editing tracks for radio. If there was ever such a thing as an album band, they are at the top of the list. Although the first two albums, Yes, and A Time and A Word are a different trip all together. Yes singles
  23. No worse than playing casinos, I guess. Blondie once played at a dog track up the road from where I live. I think I read some comments at Dime a Dozen that suggested they are mixing the setlist up somewhat. I would go if I had the chance. Although, it would be weird to hear someone who sounds like Jon, but is in fact, not him. There are videos of Benoit David up at Youtube that you can check out. The dude does a great job, I will say that much. Did Yes ever have any hits besides Roundabout? I mean the old Yes, not the Owner of a Lonely Heart version of Yes.
  24. Another article I just noticed by way of Expecting Rain: Unearthed Rolling Stones Tracks Set to Debut on “Exile on Main Street” Reissue
