  1. There have been a few up at Dime a Dozen, and Tape City over the past year. I don't know if they are still being seeded or not. If you do some searching in the Greatest Lost Track of All Time->In a Future Age section of the board, you will find the links. Or you can just go to those BT sites and search (of course). I don't know of anywhere that has artwork for the DVDs, except for the DVD Project site. But then, I don't mess with artwork, so maybe someone else has an answer for you on that question.
  2. Check out this post I made a while back. Also - How do I listen to these files?
  3. I am near the end. I just read the part about The Edge and the police looking for the cd of How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb that someone took from his boombox. I find that hilarious. It was interesting to learn that a lot of the songs on that album were left over from All That You Can't Leave Behind sessions. I don't think I have listened to that album since it came out. I was listening to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and No Line on the Horizon recently, and thinking how I would make them one album by leaving out songs I don't care for such as Get on Your Boots. I usually don't ever mess
  4. I picked up the book U2 by U2 (paperback version) the other day. I rather like it. The only other book about them I have ever read was: Unforgettable Fire: Past, Present, and Future--The Definitive Biography of U2. I have owned that book for years and years. It use to go for a lot of money, and now you can get it for next to nothing used.
  5. They are, but, it was a come in and add parts deal: I do know I have read that in the case of those Ringo solo album tracks, John and Paul sent him tapes. They did not come in and work with him in the studio. It could be that I am wrong about this. I can't recall what George contributed to Ringo's solo albums. It could be looked up, of course. I do recall that Ringo did play on All Things Must Pass.
  6. An instrumental (nice groove): Galaxian: Fortress of the Spider Gods
  7. The Black Crowes Cabin Fever DVD Trailer #2
  8. Taper's Section (November 30 - December 6, 2009)
  9. The live compilation is almost all Joe Lynn Turner, yes? I never cared for the hit single era of Rainbow.
  10. I ordered this today: Beatles Gear (book). Is this it:
  11. No, we didn't have time to get up there. Maybe I will make it next time.
  12. I have a vague memory of having several of these: Chu-Bops Bubble Gum Beatles Miniature Album Collection
  13. The Movie Box 1981-2007 It's nice to see that Rhino has finally done something new with their website.
  14. Cozy Powell (great drummer) I forget to mention the live Rainbow album - On Stage.
  15. I'd say my favorite work of his was the first two Sabbath albums he was on (Heaven and Hell and The Mob Rules), and the first two Rainbow albums (Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and Rising). I recall that Holy Diver was a quite a popular album when I was in the 11th grade. It is alright I guess.
  16. I think all of them did some work on some of those early Ringo solo albums. But - I don't know of a session when they were all in the studio together. I think it was by way of demos, or coming in and guesting on a song.
  17. Amazon has some cds on sale also (and some box sets.)
  18. I have only ever ordered cds from Amazon, since there are no longer record stores where I live. It looks like I need to learn to look elsewhere. Thanks again.
  19. I ordered it. Thanks for the information. I have been after that cd for a while. The other one I mentioned has a really nice book in it, this one does also. (40 some pages).
  20. That is what I was wondering - if it is a safe site.
  21. That is it. What is the deal with that site?
  22. Speaking of Fleetwood Mac, I once found a copy of the Buckingham-Nicks album in a Salvation Army. Some time ago, I was reading about a Led Zeppelin bootleg, that was housed in a book with photos. I once had a chance to buy it for 40 bucks (in the early 1990s) and I did not buy it. I think it goes for a lot more than that now. I can't recall the name of it. It may have been: Antrabata´s Studio Sessions Box Set. I take it Amazon is trying to give iTunes a run for its money. Is that right?
  23. I use to find treasures like that at the mall, at some chain record store. Every Christmas they would have a bin of stuff they wanted to get rid of - for 5 or 10 dollars. I found 200 Motels (VHS), and a Moby Grape cd there. This was pre-internet. Of course, the store is long since gone. It has been a long time since I had a place to go and find such things.
  24. That's always a nice thing. The cd I am looking for is this: The Vaudeville Years of Fleetwood Mac: 1968 to 1970 I have Mp3s of the tracks (I am grateful for that), but I want the real deal. What is funny to me, is that if you look on the page for the cd above, you will see a listing for Fleetwood Mac: Showbiz Blues 1968-1970. It is 20 bucks. I have that one, and that is what I paid for it. Why on earth is the companion to that set going for so much money? These sort of things boggle the mind.
