  1. What's that bit about one of them throwing a glass of milk at someone? (I can't recall the story.) I always think of Spinal Tap when I read things like that.
  2. You should read all the shit in the book about the band and their (first) wives. (Which is to say, it's nothing new.)
  3. I could not recall what she did on the show.
  4. The woman who played Pam's mom use to be on Happy Days. I just remembered where I had seen her before.
  5. It's Too Bad the Woman of the World is not awake yet, but, anyhow: From Billboard.com:
  6. I don't think number 4 is quite true, but the rest are true. I think Lou came up with the title (the song is on Music From The Elder). Bob calls him "Mr. Kiss".
  7. I have watched bits and pieces of the show since it has been on, and I found it lacking. NBC should go retro and bring back the Million Dollar Movie. Yahoo! TV Blog
  8. The Peter Green Story Peter Green Splinter Group - Albatross (acoustic)
  9. That reminds me - In one of the old Circus magazines I have from 1975, there is an article about Bruce, mainly about his mode of travel, actually. There are some photographs, of course, along with the article. One of the photographs shows Steven without a hat on.
  10. I don't know how true it is, but I was reading an interview somewhere with Steven not to long ago and he said they were taking some time off, but they would be back.
  11. I have not bought the cds yet, but I plan to get them eventually (the ones that came out a while back). I don't get the reason behind the limited edition high dollar deal though. He must have spent too much money messing around with his car a while back.

  13. Setlist by way of lovetravelsfaster.
  14. I rather like that song too. When I was a young fellow, I knew lots of girls who fit that song. There are only a few years difference between the formation of Cheap Trick and U2 (1973/1976). (Although the members played together, and knew each other before they formed their respective bands. The same could be said of ZZ Top, and Aerosmith, who also go back to the mid-late 1960s) I knew we would get to Cheap Trick. I can't say I care for them, although I know a lot of people here do like them. Tom Petersson left Cheap Trick in 1980, and came back in 1987.
  15. I think it does, with regards to people like Britney Spears, or whoever the teen star is currently. There is something about the whole idea that I find offensive for some odd reason. I suppose that is due to the fact that I prefer the album as a whole.
  16. Aerosmith never really stopped. Joe left in late 1979, Brad left in 1981(replaced by Richard Supa/Jimmy Crespo/Rick Dufay) - but, by (Spring) 1984 they were back in the band. ZZ Top went on hiatus in 1977, and came back together in 1979. I think that is right - although I don't know the exact dates.
  17. I'd say that is some sort of joke. It seems these days the place to get the scoop is a band member's Twitter page.
  18. I always thought that term meant laid back soft rock, but according to the Urban Dictionary, it is music of the baby boomer generation. Dad Rock I guess that definition fits the music I prefer to hear.
  19. I like Movin' Out and Write me a letter. ZZ Top - 1969 Aerosmith - 1970
  20. He was also called in to do some work on a few of the songs on Tracks some years back.
  21. I remember when they were called that. You don't care for the fist album? I have always liked it. Aerosmith (1973) Billboard:
