  1. Yes, check the links I mentioned. You will see.
  2. There is a whole long passage about his fear of people like that in the Beatles Anthology book.
  3. Check the Youtube thread - I recently posted some video links you may want to look at. Unless you are Eric Clapton, you are not going to get rich playing the Blues. People came and went (more than you think), so they changed into something else.
  4. Speed has the book, she can look. I was thinking of Boston (The Tea Party concert hall) last night, as I was listening to some live Fleetwood Mac (the old stuff). They were an influence on Aerosmith.
  5. Have you ever went to the place they use to live in Boston?
  6. As I have often said (and you know), if you look at the time they had to come up with songs, record them, and then do all the other stuff they had to do, even the songs that are not so great take on a new meaning.
  7. I watch Community, and Parks and Recreation (now), but still feel they are Office clones (in some ways). I have to say that the Community Halloween episode was funny as hell. Abed is the man. Cool ABED Films
  8. I've always liked the song Michelle (and I'm not much of a Paul fan), but Run For Your Life is terrible. I think John once that song was "pure shit" or something like that. But, it's on the album, and in the old days you had to get up and move the arm, so it was best to just let it play.
  9. Sounds like The Hours and Times (1991) (only without the bath tub scene). Speaking of movies, the Beatles film that Dick Clark produced is on Youtube: Birth Of The Beatles (1979) (Note - there is some NSFW nudity and language in the the film.) I remember watching this film.
  10. Anyone ever been to this place? (This is a pretty nice Beatles blog. It is all about fans meeting the Beatles.) Hard Day's Night Bed and Breakfast
  11. I pretty much agree, but some people like the latter stuff. I think unless they have some sudden hit album like KISS recently did, after years and years, they should just stick to touring. Supposedly, Joe wants to do away with using song doctors. We shall see.
  12. If you search Mp3/FLAC Music blogs, Megaupload, Rapidshare, etc., you will find them.
  13. I've read various things - such as, Scarlet Rivera got him to do for the heck of it, he did it so people could see him better from far back in the crowd, and it was something they did at a Halloween show, and did it off and on after that. Although, there are things out there like this: Directory of Bob Dylan’s Unreleased Songs: L So maybe there is some truth to what he is saying.
  14. That's funny. Fox has tried that with The Osbournes, and more recently, with Seth MacFarlane (sort of). Also, NBC tried it with Rosie O'Donnell.
  15. What's that bit about one of them throwing a glass of milk at someone? (I can't recall the story.) I always think of Spinal Tap when I read things like that.
  16. You should read all the shit in the book about the band and their (first) wives. (Which is to say, it's nothing new.)
  17. I could not recall what she did on the show.
  18. The woman who played Pam's mom use to be on Happy Days. I just remembered where I had seen her before.
  19. It's Too Bad the Woman of the World is not awake yet, but, anyhow: From Billboard.com:
  20. I don't think number 4 is quite true, but the rest are true. I think Lou came up with the title (the song is on Music From The Elder). Bob calls him "Mr. Kiss".
  21. I have watched bits and pieces of the show since it has been on, and I found it lacking. NBC should go retro and bring back the Million Dollar Movie. Yahoo! TV Blog
  22. The Peter Green Story Peter Green Splinter Group - Albatross (acoustic)
  23. That reminds me - In one of the old Circus magazines I have from 1975, there is an article about Bruce, mainly about his mode of travel, actually. There are some photographs, of course, along with the article. One of the photographs shows Steven without a hat on.
