  1. I must have missed this or ? - It notes the episodes are Season 1. Does that mean the whole thing is not up there yet? Or is that the whole thing?
  2. I never saw the GD. Imagine your first show being the Watkins Glen show.
  3. Here's an interview with Steve Silberman: Long Strange Trip Out-takes: An Interview With Steve Silberman
  4. There's is also suppose to be some sort of show based on the book Parish wrote.
  5. They need more footage of Barbi Benton and less footage of dirty smelly people on the dope.
  6. If you have the time - read his official book (Many Years From Now) and then read Yesterday: The Unauthorized Biography of Paul McCartney.
  7. It sounded like she said the________Festival. I was thinking it was something to do with England. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein Jerry Garcia: The Movie That Changed My Life
  8. I just started watching it. That is far out they are starting with the Frankenstein story. I recall watching that on AMC a long time a ago. One of the nice things about Amazon is you can get all that information on the left side of the screen. This comes in handy with regards to the songs being played in this film. What's that "holy grail" film? I could not understand what Bob's wife was saying.
  9. I mostly despise that guy - but you would not have the Beatles without him.
  10. What's that thing John Lennon once said? Everyone get's a book - the gardener, your ex-wife, etc. I am surprised she has not written one until now.
  11. That is also mentioned in the Altamont book by Selvin. I recently read that after I noticed it was on my public libraries' e-book site. I didn't think I would learn much - but I actually did.
  12. It was shown during a pledge drive here (of course). One of the people working the pledge breaks talked about how John wrote Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite by way of a poster he bought. I think he said something about only those watching tonight would now know that or some such thing. Hilarious. I've read that this new release is too loud among other complaints. I don't really know if I will bother buying it or not.
  13. I remember there use to be bootleg cd by the name of Earthquake Country in the place I use to buy cds. It was suppose to be the last album they never finished. The guy who ran the place sold them for 50 bucks a cd.
  14. I can't recall how much of that is in that recent book. Not as much as that other guy goes into - Yea - they were all pretty messed up. One good thing I read is that apparently he and Dickey had straightened things out before he passed. Dickey really gets hammered on in that One Way Out book.
  15. He is talking about that trial he went through in the early 70s. You can read more than you want to know about that whole deal in that book Midnight Riders: The Story of The Allman Brothers Band.
  16. I was reading an interview with Devon this morning. I have been through what he has been through. I can't imagine someone calling me up and asking me to talk about it. Fame is a funny thing. I generally do not pay any mind to the offspring of rock stars. But I saw this video of Devon doing Midnight Rider from 2009. He seemed to be pretty good at what he was doing. Whoever is writing the articles about Gregg's death needs to do some research. He keeps referring to Gregg as "Ramblin' Man". I wonder if this will be some shows that Bear taped:
  17. I hope he had his affairs in order. He left behind a lot of ex-wives and kids who will be trying to figure things out. I guess he married again not too long ago.
  18. Gregg's singing at the end of that live take is simply amazing. I know about them - never really heard them though. That is the nice thing about YT. You can just go there and listen to such things.
  19. Thanks for telling that story, I have never really heard any of his solo albums. I have read about them - but never listened to any of them. I have to post this again. If you don't care for long songs or songs with instrumental passages - skip to @10:20 or so. Desdemona - Allman Brothers Band
  20. I have on The Fillmore Concerts (1992 version of At Fillmore East).
  21. I sort of figured he would be gone this year after that news in April. All you can say is - glad he is not in pain anymore.
  22. Not surprising though - same as the recent Scorpions documentaries I watched. The bass player (Francis Buchholz) was no where to be seen. And the same with Black Sabbath removing Bill Ward from old photos.
