  1. And The Rex Foundation. I read somewhere that his estate was only worth 3-5 million when he died. I just realized that both Bob and Billy will be playing a festival up the road from me in July. Ratdog has played there before, but I don't think Billy has.
  2. Well now, I wonder why that didn't come up in a Google search. OR maybe it did.
  3. Good to see you post. I bought it when it came out on VHS, I loaned it out to someone who never returned it to me. I got another copy of it by way of GregRVA. You would think with a new Wilco DVD coming out, this would be a good opportunity to sell Man In The Sand, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart - A Film About Wilco, and Jeff Tweedy - Sunken Treasure - Live in the Pacific Northwest to those who bought the new DVD. So it would be nice if it was available on DVD. But at least people can still get the VHS copy of it.
  4. A good many of the Jeff solo shows from January - March of this year are still being seeded at bt.etree.org.
  5. Some of those are going to be listed as: Or they may not play in a DVD player in this country - the region deal.
  6. That's ridiculous. You can get a VHS copy for 5 or 6 bucks.
  7. Did anyone happen to pick up the Relix issue with The Allman Brothers Band on the cover? Is it worth buying? I have not seen it around to check it out.
  8. I guess Egypt is taking some drastic measures:
  9. I never saw the band live - so all I have to go on is what I see on film or what I listen to on cd, or whatever. We were talking about those guys a while back. I suppose it is a reflection of the state of the country at the time.
  10. I think a lot of people were taken back by that album, more so Nashville Skyline. Or so I have read. Not only did he move from protest songs to beat inspired imagery, but all of a sudden he was doing more straight forward songs, many of which, had biblical overtones. Although Blonde on Blonde is one of my favorites, I prefer the more straight forward songs. Dear Landlord is one of favorite Dylan songs. Of course the music is different also, it's quiet, as opposed to some of the loud tones of Blonde on Blonde.
  11. I will be surprised if this is the only one: Officials confront first US death from swine flu
  12. Oh - I rather like that song. Particularly, when watching the band play it in the The Grateful Dead movie.
  13. Wilcobase is the greatest Wilco related site there is, or ever will be I think. There are several ways you can find what you need: Wilcobase song search box. Wilcobase listing for Blood of The Lamb. Wilcobase Calender view. Wilcobase listing for the Nashville 2008 show. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page for the Nashville show, you will see the following: Audio Sources Download this show from the Wilco Archive @ Owl and Bear If click on that link, it will take you to The Wilco Archive, which is a place where we archive Wilco shows. The Wilco Archive - listing for
  14. That's a great album. I think that was the last W.A.S.P. album I bought.
  15. One thing those bands have going for them - at least they actually play music, and don't lip-sync like Britney Spears and those sort of people.
  16. Take if you will a copy of The Watchtower, for you, Marvin Gaye, and the kids.
  17. The song is actually a pro-God song:
  18. How to Deal with Swine Flu: Heeding the Mistakes of 1976
  19. I have to say that Clementine is another one of those songs I can listen to more than once. Why they dropped this song is a mystery to me. It spoke to me the very first time I heard it on So Many Roads. (Crystal Ballroom, Portland, Oregon, Feb 2 1968 - which happened to be the day after my 2nd birthday)
  20. Why is that people find this so funny I wonder. A lot of people have died. Stage 4
  21. Those are just tracks from his Theme Time Radio Hour Show. I don't why they are offering that. You can find those shows online in various places.
  22. I think that popped up when I ordered the cd from Amazon.
  23. That what I was thinking. I think that is correct, he is just playing that little keyboard deal.
