  1. Just a joke - I was watching U2 videos this morning.
  2. Yes, I knew that. You mentioned a torrent in your post. I would not be surprised if one pops up. The Brothers of A Feather shows were also not suppose to be AUD taped - but they were.
  3. Are you talking about bands that have been a round for 25+ years without changing members? Neil joined Rush on July 29, 1974. Anyhow, back to U2 - great song: In God's Country I think I may like How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb better than the new one. The Ocean - Old Grey Whistle Test (1981).
  4. Oh I see. Do you live in Red Hill Town?
  5. Thanks for the report. It sounds like something I would like to hear. I'd be surprised if they allowed taping, since they are recording the shows for a new album.
  6. It's from this show: Dime A Dozen link. The Wilco Live Show Archive link.
  7. I don't figure Tommy is complaining too much. I read an interview with him where he mentioned that he was working as a telemarketer at one point after The Replacements were finished.
  8. There are also several of them still being seeded at Dime A Dozen. Link to the BT section of the board where you will find the threads. Hint: Put NTSC in the search box at the bottom left side of the page and hit enter.
  9. I was about to throw these discs away (these are the discs I received in the mail from someone named Joe - if I re-call correctly), but decided to try and rip them with EAC again before I did. They actually came out with no errors this time. So, I now have FLAC files of this show. As I said before, I am not willing to put this up on a BT site. And to be honest, I don't really want to mess with B&P, and I am certainly not willing to mess with Vines (they don't work). So - unless The Owl objects, we will just put this show up there at some point. I made a note in the text file about the r
  10. This is one of the shows we have listed at The Wilco Live Show Archive as coming in from Europe. If someone has it handy, I would like a copy also.
  11. If I had one of those, I would buy it there.
  12. I know what you mean. Amazon has it for 9.99 - of course, they are going to get you with the S&H.
  13. Yes - short answer - ZZ Top, Rush, and I forgot who else. I don't recall what the thread was called. It may have just been some posts in another thread.
  14. The James Gang Taverne de l'Olympia, Paris, France, August 20, 1971 I have a feeling Joe can't hear himself very well - but still, I love this French TV stuff: Stop / You're Gonna Need Me / Walk Away The Bomber Woman
  15. There are a few - I think we had a thread about that once. I think both bands (U2 and The Stones) grossed over 300 million on their last tours.
  16. Supposedly the reason why: What's the deal with those chorus/background vocals in Unknown Caller? They sound like shit. The beginning piece of music in I'll Go Crazy reminds me of a song - but I can't think of it.
  17. Well, there you go, the Col. is not a Klink - he is sharing the ride.
  18. I think someday I am going to copy all the 50 + dvds of Wilco/UT/Jeff shows I have and send them to you.
  19. It's funny - The Unforgettable Fire is my favorite U2 album, but I actually prefer U2 songs that feature guitar, and not keyboards or loops, or whatever. That is why I love Rattle and Hum. As I said, I like the acoustic guitar, and the vibe of the song. I have not yet bought the re-masters either - except for The Joshua Tree. The re-master boxset is 70 bucks at Amazon.com - I figure I will get it eventually.
  20. I like the acoustic guitar deal. Spotify
  21. We generally always have some sort of U2 thread going on - even one about the re-masters. There is some good discussion in that thread. I have not stopped buying their albums, as they are one of the few bands from the 1980s that I got into. And besides Michael Bolton, I am the only guy who likes the song:
