  1. This is one of the shows we have listed at The Wilco Live Show Archive as coming in from Europe. If someone has it handy, I would like a copy also.
  2. If I had one of those, I would buy it there.
  3. I know what you mean. Amazon has it for 9.99 - of course, they are going to get you with the S&H.
  4. Yes - short answer - ZZ Top, Rush, and I forgot who else. I don't recall what the thread was called. It may have just been some posts in another thread.
  5. The James Gang Taverne de l'Olympia, Paris, France, August 20, 1971 I have a feeling Joe can't hear himself very well - but still, I love this French TV stuff: Stop / You're Gonna Need Me / Walk Away The Bomber Woman
  6. There are a few - I think we had a thread about that once. I think both bands (U2 and The Stones) grossed over 300 million on their last tours.
  7. Supposedly the reason why: What's the deal with those chorus/background vocals in Unknown Caller? They sound like shit. The beginning piece of music in I'll Go Crazy reminds me of a song - but I can't think of it.
  8. Well, there you go, the Col. is not a Klink - he is sharing the ride.
  9. I think someday I am going to copy all the 50 + dvds of Wilco/UT/Jeff shows I have and send them to you.
  10. It's funny - The Unforgettable Fire is my favorite U2 album, but I actually prefer U2 songs that feature guitar, and not keyboards or loops, or whatever. That is why I love Rattle and Hum. As I said, I like the acoustic guitar, and the vibe of the song. I have not yet bought the re-masters either - except for The Joshua Tree. The re-master boxset is 70 bucks at Amazon.com - I figure I will get it eventually.
  11. I like the acoustic guitar deal. Spotify
  12. We generally always have some sort of U2 thread going on - even one about the re-masters. There is some good discussion in that thread. I have not stopped buying their albums, as they are one of the few bands from the 1980s that I got into. And besides Michael Bolton, I am the only guy who likes the song:
  13. Me too - and I also wonder if he got some of them from the sites I posted a link to up above.
  14. Interviews and articles can still be found at the two sites below: Wilco (Gumbo Pages) Wilco (an unofficial site)
  15. The comic book that Hurley is reading. Y: The Last Man
  16. I don't really know much about this guy - except for some things I have read in magazines. Anyhow, I was looking for something on Hulu, and saw this: Storefront Hitchcock - Filmmaker Jonathan Demme profiles British singer/songwriter Robyn Hitchcock.
  17. So far, the two songs that I seemed to notice the most are Middle Cyclone, and Magpie To The Morning.
  18. Not yet. This is the section of the message board where you will find it announced if and when a source appears.
  19. That's Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Chad Smith, and, Michael Anthony. Yes, I was making a joke.
  20. What is that noise in the background of Middle Cyclone? It almost sounds like a gas heater to me.
  21. I guess I was thinking I had not seen anything about it on Expecting Rain for a while. That is the only place I go for Dylan news. It would be interesting if he put out two albums this year.
