  1. Link Woodstock I have always loved the look of 60s colour photographs.
  2. Five Guys Walk into a Bar... Great boxset, but whoever designed the way the cds are stored in the box should get a boot to the head.
  3. All the British Invasion bands covered American rock and roll songs - it was not the norm for them to write their own material. This is one of the things The Beatles and The Stones changed - along with emphasizing the album over the single.
  4. If you play that and Mr. Moonlight, back to back, Satan will come and take you away.
  5. It's there - it is just mis-dated as February 16, 2008 (Eaglebarger source).
  6. That sounds like some NRA propaganda. They sometimes make references to Hitler when they are talking about gun control.
  7. No - just something I found on David Gans blog.
  8. Amauteur snapshots - 11/17/1978 Rambler Rom at Loyola University
  9. New Trailer Star Trek Footage Debuts in New York
  10. Don't hate it - I just never listen it to it much. Tom Petty's liner notes are funny in the last re-issue. I forgot to mention Live in London, (or Beach Boys '69 as it was called when I was a kid) and The Beach Boys in Concert - good stuff. The other day, I snagged something called Smile Era Studio Party - interesting to listen to - once anyhow.

  12. I see your point. I bought all of The Beach Boys cds three times - so I am just glad they got it right finally.
  13. I posted this once already - but as I know you dudes will just want Mp3s - try this: Hacking Google: Turning a Search Engine into an MP3 Downloader Note: I don't know if this works, I don't use it, just passing along some information.
  14. Oddly enough, what I did and you said also happened on another message board I posted the article on.
  15. We had a thread about the film - where we talked about that. A lot of people did not know there was bits filmed on a soundstage and stuck in the film until the re-release came out. I have several nice SBD shows now - some from that tour. I have not listened to that in a while - think I will now. I still think the cd packaging is rather second rate though. I have seen the shows that made the cd release up somewhere - dime a dozen I think - minus the officially released tracks, that is. 16. I'm down with that - but, that one is what we have on film. I just think there is a lot of power, groove, and skill in what we get to see there.
  17. Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins Unfinished Music No.2: Life with the Lions I've never heard them. I don't really care for that sort of thing.
  18. Check Kathy's site - maybe she can point you in the right direction.
