It's not unusual for a band to play at the weddding of a person who was associated with the band in some form or another. The Rolling Stones, The Police, KISS, and Led Zeppelin, have all done this in the past - just to name a few.

Rare Earth is actually an album of demos, with overdubbed guitars and whatnot, if I recall correctly.

I've been reading that The Highlander (the first movie) is going to be redone - I don't much like that.

Back to the Future - I think reading somewhere that film was going to be re-made.

It just seems odd to me. I suppose I am thinking of the recent Indiana Jones film - which I have not seen - but, as I recall, most people thought was junk.

What's your take on making sequels to films 20 + years down the road? I think it is a bit odd - lack of new ideas, or as LB said, a sure money maker. Who is the target audience - people our age?

Jackson Browne actually sued McCain recently - over his use of Running on Empty. If they knew what that song (Barracuda), was about, I doubt they would want to use it.

I have never seen that one. I made a Dio LOL photo that I am saving for just the right occasion.

You know where to look I take it.

It does not look a hunting party going on in that photo - but rather, some teenagers going off to shoot stuff. In the two TRAILER PARKS I grew up in, we would go to the woods and shoot stuff - with pellet guns. Although, we were all children of poor white trash redneck blue collar truck drivers, our parents would not let us have guns.

I have a feeling that has something to do with it - and Dio's wife (Wendy - his manager), being not as difficult to deal with as Sharon - or so I have read.
