Anyone ever see these earlier musical legends in conert?

Yes, and one of his guitars - all for 10 bucks. On the serious side, I could have bought some original Morrison drawings once, and did not. -
What were these girls thinking in this day and age.

When I was in HS, there was no Sex Ed what so ever - and, there is probably not now, either. They do, however, have a bible class there. -

I have a Hendrix shirt I bought around there somewhere - in 1985. -
Seriously, Altrock should petition the admins to have a pinned thread about Wilco TV appearances - he and whoever else can post in it, and then people will be able to know when Wilco is on TV.

That reminds me of a Driving Ms. Daisy spoof photo I saw on the internets. -

I suppose that depends on if you view Hendrix as the same as John Mayer. Or The Knack as the same as The Beatles. -

That was my first thought when I saw the first post in this thread - as I think the average age here is pretty young, there is hardly anyone here that would have been old enough to see those bands. I know people who have seen LZ, The Beatles, etc., as well as, people who were at Woodstock. I hope to get up there and check out the museum next month. I think it is sad - the deal with those bands, where it is one dude and a bunch of Holiday Inn lounge players or whatever. I have seen some shows on PBS that feature such bands - pretty terrible, actually. But, they have to eat. -
I don't think I own any Dylan shows - but I now have hundreds of Jeff/UT/Wilco shows.

That is pretty cool - straight from the horse's mouth - as Ian Hunter would say.

This reminds me somewhat of the pre and post Summerteeth/Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Wilco discussion. I like this band - they have some great songs, and now, they have changed their sound. So, that takes some getting use to. They are one of the three bands that I enjoy listening to that I learned about by being on this message board.

Too bad it is not July 14th-23rd - I will be up there during that time. -

I think this is the only time they played in Baltimore - according to what I found online: -

Somehow I don't see the Baptists who jammed god tickets in my door frame, the Mormons who cracked the neighbor's front door glass pounding on it, and the Jehovah Witnesses who bug the heck out of people at the Laundromat all sitting down together and accepting each other -
