  1. What was that show where they played for 7 or 8 hours - amazing.
  2. It is useful for something that is out of print - but other than that, I don't see the point.
  3. I tell ye - my first thought was the same what Uncle said above. Can you take it back - I'd do that. In case you want to check it out: Here's the search page with threads about turntables.
  4. The support page seems to be down. Sounds like belt slippage me - is it belt driven?
  5. I just saw four girls wearing the scarf she is wearing - must be the new in thing to wear.
  6. I have my pick of two places - both feature fresh roasted beans - you can't beat that.
  7. That magazine was really nice - full color, posters, etc. I have kept them intact, and they are in good shape.
  8. Most BT sites won't allow them -
  9. Well, I was thinking of you punching me in the throat at that show we were at together.
  10. I don't think The Beats ever did much work.
  11. They quit doing Propoganda, right? I have some issues of that from the Achtung Baby period.
  12. Sorry, I just woke from my lunch nap, and realised I was still at work. Some live videos of songs off of the new Dylan's new album.
  13. The prices of those cds are not very fan friendly.
  14. It's been posted before. I sort of like debate - as long as we don't end up fighting. We mainly just post the same BS here over and over again, year after year anyhow.
  15. A video of the flash fowards in order.
  16. Are you saying this thread has No Direction, period?
  17. Me too - that was the first U2 album I ever bought - Under A Blood Red Sky.
  18. New Wave, indeed. ha ha ha I heard that Under A Blood Red Sky is going to come out on DVD. I recall wanting one of those coats. A good early U2 song.
  19. Oh, I didn't use the g word. I do believe people are born with an intense passion and talent for something.
  20. I said some of that in this thread - I think. Also - you can not teach talent, you are either born with it, or not. I think he was born with something special, as were others, John Lennon, Brian Wilson, etc. I know that is not the popular view these days, but after listening to these artists (among others) for almost 30 years, that is my belief.
  21. I've never heard a Cure cd, but the early U2, Springsteen, and early Tom Petty (minus the first two, which were re-mastered a few years ago) sound terrible. But - as you say, it is drag if you already own all of this stuff. At least they have not did an Elvis Costello/David Bowie and re-release their back catalog three or four times - so far anyhow. We've had this talk before, of course.
