I think I have those on discs somewhere. Of course, there are now various versions of what's out there on Youtube now. That guy got great sounds.

You can't argue with that - 50 Shades of Wilco. Wilco shows sometimes appear right away, sometimes never, and sometimes a long time after the show.
-
That makes me think of the PERRO Sessions.
-
It's not up - just the Vermont show.

Her name is China. And you can see her act in a not so great film called The Stoned Age. She was also in Airheads and various TV shows. Also - MTV.

I have an original pressing of that album. I recall see torrents up of Jefferson Starship shows last year and wondering why he was not playing. I think the last thing I read was about some award they were given for playing shows for the troops or something like that. There are some good interviews out there to watch where he talks about the history of the JA and the history of San Francisco rock in general. I can't say I always agreed with some of his ideas - but he did always seem to speak his mind.

I was just thinking about him the other day. I recall reading that he missed some shows last year due to health problems. Surrealistic Pillow through Volunteers are some of my favorite albums from that time period.
-
I think that is right - 2007.

What is really great is their performance from the Eric Clapton Crossroads show from a a few years ago. They do a version of Anyday with Susan on co-vocals. (Actually it was still the Derek Trucks band at that time.) That song always brings a tear to the old eye.

He did a thing where you paid to watch a live stream. It was called Moogis. I think the ABB ban on torrents was about keeping it old school where people had to interact to trade. They had/have a trading site on Hittin' The Web. I have never messed with it. I have a couple of those archival (official) releases though.

I see a lot of Tedeschi-Trucks torrents out there. Not something I would really listen to - but I will watch their live videos on Youtube once in a while.
-
I would think that might change with the end of the band. But - I guess not.
-
Donna - I hope you had a nice birthday.

They are one of those bands that I use to listen to a lot/sometimes still do - but don't know a whole lot about really. I suppose I know the general story - at least as far as what was presented in the PJ20 documentary.
-
I wonder if this is the first time they have toured without releasing a new album.

It's probably not much different from what happens to most bands. There is just film of it. I am actually not much of an Eagles fan - but there is, of course, a big difference between their early and later stuff. I think what he and Don Henley did was take Gram Parsons vision and translate it so that it would appeal to everyone. Of course, the later stuff is just good old rock and roll. Anyhow - it is still miles ahead of what is popular now. They actually played guitars and created songs - imagine that. Anyhow - I like this: Longbranch Pennywhistle - Rebecca

I bet these tickets will go for some big money:

I saw some posts that had Martin Chambers photo on the news story. I guess someone didn't do their homework. Martin did play with the band for the reunion shows a while back. And a pet peeve of mine is that people only know All The Young Dudes. Mott had many great songs. He also worked with various bands in the years following the band's demise. I believe he also worked as a producer for the BBC.

He sang Peaceful Easy Feeling - which is a great song. I guess he had some health issues going on that were not all that well known (at least in the news).

Corner Gas (2004-2009) This show seems to be pretty tame compared to the other Canadian show I watch. But - it is funny.

This may be interesting:

Thanks. I don't know if this is real - but I did wonder why the price of that Pin Ups cd was 17 dollars when I looked it up. Amazon is sold out of every David Bowie album (and accused of price-jacking)

I wouldn't know what that even is, man.
