I think that a lot of people who got into WILCO through Summerteeth/YFH have next to no interest in what came before those albums.

Just my 2 cents -

If you want something commercially available - you should look elsewhere - it is disrespectful to the band. Threads like this should be squashed -

Not to sound like the start of Restless & Wild - but most message board and fan driven websites have a FAQs. It would be helpful to those who come here looking for WILCO information - People also need to learn how to use the SEARCH function -

You see - we would rather make sarcastic comments. Well - one could simply post a link to the FAQ thread in threads that are started over and over again - and simply lock the thread. So when someone says, "Could you tell me where the loft is and send me a 32 kb/s mp3 rip of the next Wilco album?" - they could be directed to the FAQ.

I was told it was not up to me to do it - but rather those who run this place. I would be glad to help out -

Freaks & Geeks was suppose to be the early 80s - I think. What I am saying is - one network has a hit with a show about a bunch of kids in high school in the past - so another network green lights a show about a group of high school kids in the past.

Yes - but you know how TV is these days - someone gets a hit, and then the hit is copied. What's surprising on this one is, Fox was first. You may recall that they also had an That 80s Show for a time. It's the same path that The Wonder Years, American Dreams, and a short lived show called Almost Grown, were on - nostalgia sells.

I think I would rather listen to Loose Fur before watching either of those two things.
