I am not technically knowledgeable enough to know - but I am glad I learned how to use EAC. It must have some to do with the process and that EAC can be dialed in to read your disc drive.

What I really mean here is the method used - EAC is preferred - this is evident in reading over some of the rules at that one place. I don't think they are the sort of dudes to name something like that unless they feel strongly about it. Personally, these days I only listen to Mp3's if that is the only way I get something.

In other words, crap Mp3 rips.

I don't think it is EAC - although I am not going to grab it to hear. I have already heard it and deleted it after passing it around. I don't need to hear it again until May. I think it was 200 VBR.

Just for kicks, I now have Son Volt next to WILCO - until May that is.

I usually do not mess with such things - but I did watch all the episodes of Chad Vader a few months ago. I have also seen the littleloca episodes with crispin glover -which were, uh pretty surreal.
