I don't think I have either. I may be wrong - that is just what came to mind.
-
The beginning of that Sannhet album made me think of the band Helmet.
-
I like those History of Iron Maiden dvds.
-
I read that other day also. According to Nicko, they have a new album finished and ready to go.
-
I think the only two Metallica cds I have are And Justice For All... and Garage Inc. The rest are original cassette or vinyl pressings.
-
I'd like to get this. I was trying to recall if I ever had No Life 'Til Leather - I don't think I did. The only rarities I have are: Whiplash (cassette), Metallistore (cassette), and The $5.98 E.P.. . . (vinyl) (I don't know how rare that is though. Probably not that rare). I guess they are going to re-master/re-release all of their albums. I may be interested - depending on how they sound. At least up through And Justice For All. . .

That's awesome. I recall going by there when I was at that RARHOF years ago. That's a great album.
-
That's a trip. I also have an original pressing of Who Came First. I found it at a junk shop years ago.
-
I guess old Pete wants people to buy these again: I wonder if this round will have the same stuff as the Rhino/Hip-O Records versions. I think the version I have of Who Came First is the Rykodisc release from the early 1990s. Scoop 3 is probably the only one I will get. I never bought it the first time around.

I have a Big Jim action figure right behind me on a shelf. Not the one I had though - someone gave it to me about 15 years ago. I am curious to see Amazon's version of The Man In The High Castle.
-
I know this as I was looking for the one I had last night. Not usually my thing - but I watched The Fall on Netflix recently. Now I am watching The Killing.
-
You can buy one on Ebay for 250 bucks now.
-
I don't know why the Esquire Network is running old shows from the 70s - but I like it.
-
The Six Million Dollar Man (The Secret of Bigfoot part 1) This episode originally aired on my 10th birthday.

Another pre-Experience release (officially released this time): You Can't Use My Name - The RSV/PPX Sessions

That's odd. You would think Chris would not be like that. Sounds like the shit that went down in RATT or some other metal band.
-
It's amazing the number of bands he played with: Beatles, Stones, Kinks, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Jeff Beck, Quicksilver Messenger Service, etc.
-
Physical Graffiti re-release information (by way of Amazon.co.uk): (February 23?)
-
That's what I have read - that he didn't really want to do it. I have the cd of the show. I think I saw the concert on Youtube or somewhere a while back.

Here's a thread with links to other threads about what shows to get: Best bootleg/live concert

I knew they were pretty popular - but I didn't know they played in places that big. Maybe it's due to the cost that U2 is not playing stadiums.
-
I was thinking of actual rock bands.
-
I wonder if they could sell out stadiums anymore? (Off the top of my head - I think only the Rolling Stones or Bruce could still do that.) Although I have listened to U2 since about 1981, I have never got to see the band. Someday.

Official Doctor Who discussion thread
Analogman replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
It almost sounded to me as if Nick Frost called the Doctor "Peter" in the scene where they are all holding hands. -
Cool.
