I'm listening to this now. I guess he wanted to throw a curve ball with the music? Or maybe he has been listening to Beachwood Sparks. The Crowes version of Tornado is much better than the take here. I wonder why he decided to redo that one? I'd like to see him just do a solo acoustic album.

Of course you have to remember there was no such thing as vocal monitors then - or rather they were very primitive.

I have not listened to it yet. I noticed Rich is doing a lot of PR for his new album. I didn't post it - but there was a big article on Billboard the other day about his new album/tour.

I ordered the new Chris album today by way of Amazon. It cost me $7.99. I noticed Rich's album is listed at $16.71. That's quite a difference in price.

I bet it will be one of those expensive record albums/cds/whatnot packages. Another one of the greatest live albums of all time is also getting the same treatment - Made In Japan.

Well, that's like your opinion, man.

There are some good songs on all of them. Somewhere I have a tape that I made back in the day of all the songs I liked from the four solo albums.

Oddly enough, I don't care for Pink Floyd all that much - but I saw the The Wall back in the day.

I am not much of a Prince fan, but I recall seeing the film in theaters. Truth be told, I think I even owned the soundtrack on cassette.

Last weekend I happened to notice Purple Rain was on TV. Do you realize it has been almost 30 years since that film was originally in theaters? Yesterday, I was reading an article by way of DIGG about washed up celebrities doing autograph conventions. And who should be in one of the photos? Apollonia, of course.
