A bunch of musicians talking about how great Pono is. . . I thought it was interesting to see T. Bone Burnett in the video. As I recall - he and John Mellancamp tried something like this a few years ago. Looks like he got the bucks:

I grabbed this yesterday at B&N for about 18 bucks. I can see that due to the spacing on the pages it is a lot thinner that I thought it was going to be.

That article is certainly discouraging. I don't know why they are worried about making "hit singles" at this point.

I wonder if he is on tonight's episode? I noticed tonight's episode description includes something to do with a band.

Story of my life - I've read that one and Midnight Riders: The Story of The Allman Brothers Band. I guess Duane's daughter has a book out also. I don't think I will read that one.

That's cool. Let someone else have it. Or donate it to a library.

I never wanted to be one of those guys who say I got this and you can't have it. But in this case - I can't post it. I can tell you how to find it. If you go to a library that has access to the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Full Text website - do a search on Grateful Dead. You will be able to read it. It's the third result that comes up when you search.

I was able to read some interviews in someone's master thesis a while back. Some of the interviews had to do with all the work that went into getting those shows up there. Amazing stuff really.

That video for American Dream is funny as hell.

I don't know if I like the sound of that song - it's a bit too polished. But - it is a cool song.
