Who got in this time:
-
I was thinking about that the other day. I bet it will come out officially someday. I read an interview somewhere with someone who worked on the recent BBC release who hinted there were more releases to come in 2014.

I don't recall ever coming across his name in any of the Dead books or articles I have read.

Jeff Tweedy solo acoustic Side With The Seeds?
Analogman replied to dmfresco's topic in After The Show
You can go to Wilcobase and search for the song, you can go to the official Wilco site and search for the song (I think), you can search in this section of Via Chicago, and finally, you can search the In A Future Age section of Via Chicago. Also - the Lyrics and Tabs section of Via Chicago, and Radiocure. You best best is probably to do a search in In A Future Age on the word seeds. If there any any shows with that song - they will come up in you search.- 2 replies

Something I did not know:
-
Jeff Tweedy - Lounge Ax, Chicago, Illinois (02/28/1999)
-
Wilco - The Complete Singles 1994-2002

I grew up with those albums - but I have never bought them on cd. I always planned to get the Captiol boxsets that came out in 2004 - but I never did buy them.
-
I've never heard of that album The Early Beatles. What else is out there? I know of: A Collection of Beatles Oldies, Hey Jude (The Beatles Again), Rock 'n' Roll Music, The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl, Love Songs, and Reel Music. I've read that Paul is hesitate to release Let It Be since George died.

By way of Billboard:
-
He was on bass when they did the tour with Mick Hucknall. I don't know about Mac, but Kenney has a stake in The Who. He gets money from whatever they do.
-
Me too. Although I have a cassette of it. It be nice if they would go ahead and make it available outside of the boxset (The Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol. One).
-
Amazon has Dylan cds for $5.99 or less: Dylan cds (even The Bootleg Series, Vol. 4: Bob Dylan Live, 1966: The "Royal Albert Hall Concert")
-
We'll see. He seems to come out with this news every so often - and then something comes up.
-
It appears Rod is saying it is going to happen (again) (from Billboard):
-
Outtasite (Outta Mind) T.V. Show: Psych Shawn (And Gus) of The Dead (2008)

My great find of the day back then was Hendrix In The West (only on vinyl at the time). I found it in the chain record store where I use to buy records in the mall. This probably would have been around the same time (1982).
-
I never owned it back in the day. A good friend of mine had it. The copy I have came from a radio station that was tossing all their albums in the early 1990s. Of course, now it's on the Winterland boxset.
-
It is totally awesome. I recall hearing that album when it came out (The Jimi Hendrix Concerts' 1982).
-
It was in the mail when I got home. It's funny to hear them giving Bear hell.
-
I've seen some silent film (from the Electric Ladyland sessions). There is probably a list out there somewhere of all the stuff that may be still unreleased. One collection that comes to mind is the Black Gold sessions. There are of course endless reels of him jamming in the studio (or so I have read). I have boot of some of that stuff. Two great live tracks: I Don't Live Today (The Sports Arena, San Diego, CA, May 24, 1969) Are You Experienced? (Winterland, San Francisco, CA, October 10, 1968)
-
Supposedly, the family (estate) is only going to put out what live stuff and/or concert films they now own.
-
It's not all that great. I agree. But - just like the crap studio stuff, they are going to put out all that they can - good or bad.

I was looking at the dead.net help page yesterday. I think it stated on there one should wait 7-10 days before calling. I think today makes 8 days. Plus there was the holiday weekend. I think I will wait till at least tomorrow and then call if I don't get it.
