  1. I read this somewhere the other day - but what I read seemed to say it was just a rumor. It has now been confirmed: (Sky News)
  2. Some of that sort of stuff must be new - I don't recall those things in the old bootleg version I have. Although, it has been a long time since I saw the film.
  3. David mentions the Dick's Picks re-issues again in the chat from last night. And more 69 shows coming out. (I didn't get to see it last night. It's a good thing they archive these things.) Someone must have changed their mind - I recall reading an interview with Dick or David where they said they would never consider using an AUD tape. 2/11/1970 - It would be cool to get that one. (The must be why he mentioned they acquired some tapes from 1970/1971.)
  4. He has said some good things about the band in the past. I usually like to read what he has to say - but sometimes I think he is just plain wrong.
  5. Another not heard, but just read on Lefsetz's blog:
  6. That one seems more in depth than the Relix interview. I don't see how he could like that music, but, people like what they like.
  7. The Brooklyn Slide was the only album of theirs I ever owned. I gave it away to a friend of mine years ago. (It's sort of interesting that this announcement comes out - and those Coffee Creek shows appear on Dime a Dozen yesterday.)
  8. The Avett Brothers Sing Heavy Metal (Not too long ago I was watching videos of a bluegrass band doing Metallica songs - I sort of liked what they were doing.)
  9. Don't forget the acoustic stuff - You can go to Archive.org and listen to all the shows you want.
  10. I thought they would have something out by now.
  11. I read that somewhere - on the Record Collector website I think. I think he is sort full of himself. When I was a youngster, ELO were very popular. I never got into them though. I do like some songs of The Move. I suppose it must have been George that pushed for him to do the Free As A Bird and the other tracks.
  12. When I see those photographs, I think of his Hendrix quote. Something about walking around NYC and seeing Jimi ride past in a limo - it's in the Biograph or Bootleg Volume 1-3 liner notes (I think).
  13. I recall reading somewhere that the Dylan (1973) album is going to be included in the collection. I hope they put it out separate at some point.
  14. Same deal as the live BC album they put out a while back - I take it they must not be pressing very many copies of the album.
  15. They must have something against cds:
  16. I know I bought it last year - as it was re-printed. I recall having a hard time reading the text, as it was reprinted smaller that the original.
  17. The History of The Trapper Keeper I don't think I ever had one of those.
  18. I was looking for my Grateful Dead Family Album book a little while ago and discovered it seems to have disappeared. Pretty weird.
  19. You should check them out if you can - they are going on hiatus again next year.
  20. I was told several years ago that when a thread hits one thousand posts it is suppose to be closed - and a new one opened. I don't know if that is still true or not.
