  1. I thought they would have something out by now.
  2. I read that somewhere - on the Record Collector website I think. I think he is sort full of himself. When I was a youngster, ELO were very popular. I never got into them though. I do like some songs of The Move. I suppose it must have been George that pushed for him to do the Free As A Bird and the other tracks.
  3. When I see those photographs, I think of his Hendrix quote. Something about walking around NYC and seeing Jimi ride past in a limo - it's in the Biograph or Bootleg Volume 1-3 liner notes (I think).
  4. I recall reading somewhere that the Dylan (1973) album is going to be included in the collection. I hope they put it out separate at some point.
  5. Same deal as the live BC album they put out a while back - I take it they must not be pressing very many copies of the album.
  6. They must have something against cds:
  7. I know I bought it last year - as it was re-printed. I recall having a hard time reading the text, as it was reprinted smaller that the original.
  8. The History of The Trapper Keeper I don't think I ever had one of those.
  9. I was looking for my Grateful Dead Family Album book a little while ago and discovered it seems to have disappeared. Pretty weird.
  10. You should check them out if you can - they are going on hiatus again next year.
  11. I was told several years ago that when a thread hits one thousand posts it is suppose to be closed - and a new one opened. I don't know if that is still true or not.
  12. It sounds like he didn't want the news out there. When I saw that photo, I figured something happened to him - as he does not seem as portly as the last photo I saw of him.
  13. Another BBC release: (out November 2013)
  14. I think Widespread Panic played there a while back also. Whoever does the shows there must like that sort of music.
  15. That's it. I know some people that were at the show. The place is actually called The Coliseum. It's where the basketball team plays. I saw Robert Plant and Bob Dylan there.
  16. When I was walking to work this morning I happened to see a flyer for a Mickey Hart Band show (in the same theater where I saw Ryan Adams). I wonder if he knows his old pal Phil Lesh once played right up the street from where he will be playing. Of course, the GD actually played here once - in 1983.
  17. There is a show on BBC America (The Doctors Revisited) where they interview the former doctors and their companions. That show Torchwood is also going to be on BBC America starting September the 14th. I've never seen it before.
