  1. That's about what I was thinking. It would be interesting to hear the story of how they finally worked out the rights and details after all these years.
  2. I usually watch most things on Youtube (old TV films, old TV shows, etc.) I thought it would be more than 35 bucks. I figured they would come out with some sort of 100 dollar boxset for the film's release.
  3. I've never actually seen a Blu-ray film. I still have the 50 dollar dvd player I bought ten years ago. I don't think I have any Grateful Dead stuff on DVD - except for some DVD-R stuff.
  4. I am surprised there has not been a big announcement from Dead.net.
  5. Looks like is she is quite busy these days:
  6. Yes - and maybe a series. It was suppose to be Ron Howard directing - but now I don't know. Anthony - the uncut version came out after the original release. He was made to cut it down in size the first time around. I didn't know that (pre-internet days) until I saw the second version in a supermarket back in the early 1990s. I think he also changed some dates, and culture references in the versions that came out after the initial release.
  7. Which version did you guys read? The 1000 + page version, or the original version? The other King books I like are The Talisman and Black House. I never really got into him except for The Dark Tower, The Stand, and the other two books above. And maybe Hearts in Atlantis.
  8. We'll have to see how the movie/series goes - if it ever comes out.
  9. I'd say that would have to be The Dark Tower series.
  10. Article from Billboard.com:
  11. Thanks for the updates. I have edited the setlists to reflect the new information. The original My Morning Jacket setlist I posted was way off - according to what I found on their official message board a few minutes ago.

  13. Amazon listing: The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You
  14. I got this book recently: At first I thought it was simply the writer commenting on the time period, with press clippings included. It seemed to be mostly stuff I have heard about many times over the years. But, there is a really long interview with Keith towards the end that makes it worthwhile.
  15. Like, no way, like. (I do like his vocals in Shades of Grey, and he did write For Pete's Sake - which is a cool song.)
  16. This is quite a setlist (minus those terrible Peter Tork songs):
  17. And even says something nice about Joan.
  18. I have not read the reprint. I just have the original version. My understanding is the new version has added content. Here's a link to the music books thread if you want to check that out: Various Music Related Books. I think there may also be a few Dylan book threads in this section.
