I'm not the greatest Replacements fan - but how can an album with Achin' To Be on it be the worst? That's crazy talk. The re-issue has the song Portland on it. I like that song.

I don't think I have ever watched that since it was on TV. I was talking to someone in their 20s about that show the other day. I recall seeing the movie in a almost empty move theater (1992).

If that is true, whoever owns the show rights must have made a deal with all those who own the music. I found a place to watch it online. I do own Due South on dvd. Which is another great show from around that time period.

Waking The Dead (BBC) I guess this show was on for several years. I have only seen seasons 4 and 5 so far. Northern Exposure I have probably not seen Northern Exposure since it was on back in the day. I have started to buy the dvds a few times - but then I read the original music was replaced with some sort of generic music. When you see the crap that is on now - it is hard to believe there was ever such a great show on TV.

I think Gene said a while back he would not play with Ace and Peter if they got in. There's a lot of bad mouthing that goes back and forth between those guys.

It is odd. They must hate Deep Purple bad.

I grew up with those albums - but I have never bought them on cd. I always planned to get the Captiol boxsets that came out in 2004 - but I never did buy them.

I've never heard of that album The Early Beatles. What else is out there? I know of: A Collection of Beatles Oldies, Hey Jude (The Beatles Again), Rock 'n' Roll Music, The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl, Love Songs, and Reel Music. I've read that Paul is hesitate to release Let It Be since George died.
