I was on the fence about John Mayer being a part of it.But after having seen a Worchester show 2 years ago I was a believer that this might work. I have since seen summer shows in CT, Fenway, and the two most recent Boston's . . The present incarnation delivers the most energized sand balanced Show since GD. Thankful that I saw the original. Nothing will come close to when they were on. I'm happy that they are committed to keeping this music alive by playing it live. Many of my friends feel the same. Reviews are often filled with the words this bamds on fire, sometimes they do lock in tightly

Here's a link to a recently published article on Dickey Betts. Has some interesting points. It would be nice to see him guest on Warren or Derrick's stage sometime but if it didn't happen at the ABB goodby shows then, I.guess it never will. https://www.yahoo.com/music/dickey-betts-lost-allman-brother-150027748.html

Understand your poin. Matt Mattison singing more would be welcome and I heard A rumor that Kofi sang in NY.More of this would be welcome.,as they present as somewhat of an ensemble to me.

Fats Domino, nobody before or since had your style, and that million dollar smile. Blueberry Hill, Blue Monday, I'm Walking, Ain't That a Shame and many others, influenced many artist, including The Beatles. So glad I saw him in concert as a H.S. kid in late 70s. Rest In Peace. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xbfMlk1PwGU Some comments about Blue Monday from Macca prior about writing Lady Madonna.. "It reminded me of Fats Domino for some reason, so I started singing a Fats Domino impression. It took my other voice to a very odd place.” While Fats Domino's 1956 track “Blue Monday” charts the f

WRP while I think it would have been nice to get down to NYC and catch some of the guests. It would have been potluck to get who you were interested in. I'm hoping for a wider variety of the setlists' ( than last time) in the 3 nights we are getting in Boston. Just saw (on YouTube) them cover Tom Petty last night Last Dance w/ MJ > Susan did an admiriable job on the Harp although a bit nervous she did an outstanding job on the guitar and vocals. Could have actually let the crowd carry the chorus .. that's how well received it was.

Wishing she was, he needs a singer to provide balance, for that excellent guitar. Have seen Beth Hart and her band prior, very talented. Somewhere is a great vid w/ Bonamssa & Grace Potter crushing a Neil Young song.

Bouncing Souls, RANCID and DROPKICKS at theBrockton Fairgrounds This show was a perfect setting, a true blue collar City Unlike the city of Boston anymore It's a city that was home to the Original Rocky.. Champion Heavyweight Boxer Rocky Marciano All the bands tore through their sets in front of a sellout. A good night, with Rancid and Dropkicks playing the last 3 together, most memorable was Folsom Prison Blues.

Jbray wrote " appreciative of being able to hear the tunes that will probably be lost from the roster on the next cycle (ALTWYS, Someday Soon, Reservations, and my fave You Are My Face) and to get a second listen to the way some of the live alterations make the songs burn white hot (Locator, ALTWYS, BBN ((best version)), I'm Always in Love, RNG). What a great time! " Totally agree especially your main point that these songs will not be in the heavy rotation on a new album tour. It was one of the most Uptempo Rock Setlists I've seen them play in the last 12 years or so. Liked this venue -
Don't get to type this here often enough ; Wilco
