  1. Me all scruffy like, hanging out in my room tonight and not finishing the music I'm working on:
  2. Has anyone seen the collection of global short films called alternately "11'9"01" or just "September 11" Link? I was in NYC with my dad about a year and a half after 9/11 and saw this at a cinema there in the village and was absolutely blown away by how good it was. It's a bunch of different (global, one American) film-maker's responses to 9/11, and while one or two is a little hit or miss, and certainly contreversial, it's all and all really powerful and thought provoking. Just wondering if anyone else had seen it and/or what they thought of it?
  3. Apocalypse Now Citizen Kane Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Brazil Memento Adaptation Goodbye, Lenin Run Lola, Run Igby Goes Down Pulp Fiction
  4. Redux is much longer, I actually saw it in a theater in Boston when it was re-released, I'm a big fan of the Redux, but each has its merits...since it's a pretty long movie to begin with.
  5. One of my all time favorite movies. You definitely don't have to be a fan of war movies, as much as a fan of messed up psychological movies or Heart of Darkness.
  6. The Wrens "Happy" Autumn Defense "Silence" Radiohead "How to Dissappear Completely" or "Bulletproof...I wish I was" Also, Jim O'Rourke is the king of nasty breakup lyrics...see particularly "Memory Lame" also "Answers to Your Questions" from the new Loose Fur would make a good addition
  7. Nice! Did anyone catch the IATTBYH film quote at the beginning of #6,
  8. Well even if you can half the attention from the ladies that Rasputin got it would be worth keeping for a while.

  13. A squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag is fast and bulbous, got me?
  14. Go figure...the history channel's target audience is a bunch of dudes who can't get it up anymore.
  15. Good call. I have a percussion lesson in the a.m., not that it would stop me from drinking, but I know I don't ever want to have to be hung over and playing drums.
  16. Wikipedia then Man the internet is hilarious. Also I just finished my homework...damn right.
  17. A good evening spent on Youtube should refresh your memory.
  18. Is this like some wierd ass thing where we form an uber-powerful robot or something?
  19. Yeah, Canyon Arrow is definitely different, but certainly fits in right with their style. In the Winterlight is a little more standard for them, but still enjoying them both. Initially maybe not as much as my favorite tracks off of Circles, but you know, it's only two songs, and the album art looks cool. Adding this to the long list of things to get....
  20. Me= Must do music homework and practice percussion for my lesson tomorrow.
