  1. That was my first Wilco show! I have looked high and low for that poster and have found nothing. I don't think it exists. If you do find one, @Sean Runyon please let me know. Good luck!
  2. Santa delivered these on NYE. Better late than never!
  3. I don't have a reservation for SBS, but I signed the petition. Tough decisions for all involved.
  4. Twenty twenty-two, Will you be a bummer like Twenty twenty, too? *Sigh* This is not shaping up to be a festive thread.
  5. In case you missed it, Solid Sound tickets and lodging go on sale on Friday at noon ET here https://solidsound.frontgatetickets.com/
  6. Your acorn squash would work well with this. It looks like a bit of a mess, but it is fantastic! You could add crumbled sausage, too. https://smittenkitchen.com/2021/10/winter-squash-and-spinach-pasta-bake/
  7. Congratulations on 20 years, VC! Hard for me to believe I've been hanging around here for half of of that span. I'm so grateful for the friends I've made here and through Wilco in general. It's given me a reason to travel to new places and a virtual space to be with good people when the world seems like it's gone insane. And Paul's reviews always magically transport me to the front row when Wilco's far, far away Thanks, everyone!
  8. ACL recently announced the other performers. Jason Isbell And Rosanne Cash is slated to induct Wilco into the HOF. Music greats Jason Isbell, Margo Price, John Doe, Sheila E., Lenny Kaye, Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner, Rosanne Cash, Bill Callahan, Terry Allen and Del Castillo’s Alex Ruiz will take part in saluting the newest class of inductees with one-of-a-kind music performances and tributes.

  11. $75 (face value) I'll cover the fees, etc. Great seat! Orch Sec B, Row B, Seat 9 Show was rescheduled from March 23, 2020
  12. It was a stellar performance for sure. And the sweatiest all-around I can remember. One unfortunate dehydrated young man next to our group on the rail collapsed during the SK set. Once the paramedics arrived to take care of him, an nice man (in a shirt with some kind of fish on it) appeared and distributed a case of water to the crowd.
  13. It's nice to hear what Glenn has to say for a change. Love that part about 50 new songs being "all over the place". Thanks for posting, Sandy!
  14. Absolutely! I'll try for both and let you know how it goes.
  15. I'll see what I can do for both of you. Got three chances - Red Rocks, Richmond and Merriweather
  16. Jeff named our dogs Pip and Pocky His pet naming skills are extraordinary!
  17. I agree with Boss_Tweedy on all accounts! Once the lineup is announced, I'll bet a few more VCers chime in. Jeff's announcement came pretty late in evening for those of us on the east coast. It was a mad late-night rush to find alternate accommodations for our group, but we did it. Can't wait to get back to the Berkshires!
  18. Congratulations Wilco! "Austin City Limits is proud to announce the newest class of Austin City Limits Hall of Fame inductees, recognizing a pioneering trio of music’s great live acts: Wilco, Alejandro Escovedo and Lucinda Williams. After an absence in 2020 due to the pandemic, the ACL Hall of Fame returns to form, celebrating a stellar new class of trailblazing artists with longtime ties to ACL. The 2021 ACL Hall of Fame inductees will be saluted at a star-studded ceremony to be held October 28th, 2021 at ACL‘s studio home, ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. More in
  19. Congratulations, Donna!!! He is beautiful. He'll be joining you at shows in no time!
  20. This looks interesting Track 15. Cold Water (Scott Tanner feat. Duke Silver)
  21. I made a dee-lish mushroom casserole that is a riff on stuffed mushrooms (Thank you Smitten Kitchen). Served it alongside some pan-roasted salmon and a green salad. Yum. I'm calling it "Mushunderstood"
  22. I'm finally going to use up some of the airline credits I accumulated from canceled trips in 2020. In mid-May, I'm traveling to Atlanta for my nephew's HS graduation and a mini family reunion with my brother's family and my parents. It'll be the first time seeing my mother in well over a year. Like you said, Donna, just looking forward to some normalcy!
