question: is jay's wife stacked? if so, i can see why jeff would have felt drawn to touch her yabos or comb her hair or whatever. so, really, she broke up uncle tupelo. you can lock this one up now. thanks. -

while I won't lose any sleep over it, how anybody could find this anything less than insanely creepy is beyond me.

you seem to forget I actually like coldplay for the most part. eh, it's not a bad little song...

The Voxtrot, Panda Bear and Bloc Party albums are the only three so far I really like.

Free at last, free at last...thank God almighty, i'm free at last...

sweet jesus, i just listened to the whole thing and i'm hooked straight out the gate. i like the layers of sound w/ a lot of cool little things in the nooks and crannys (sp?). cool lyrics as well. first 'new' music of 2007 I dig the whole album cover to cover.

A 'one note act'? Yikes. Hardly.

missed this...happy belated, old man.

I'm really digging the few tracks I was able to nab off of some blogs...if anybody can help me take a full testdrive on this i'd appreciate it. I was late to the party on their EP, but really dug it once I picked it up. That 'Firecracker' track is catchy as fuck.

- the mullet. That's all i'll say, as there is no merit to further argument w/ anybody who doesn't appreciate Budokan.

I was just in the middle of putting together a losless FLAC file, but i've reconsidered. You'll have to get a taste from John's nephew. Nice work.

it's true, my boss just gave me a box full of junk w/ the demo for it inside. here is the album cover:

Heyyyyyy Peter, what's happening? Seriously? You didn't like Hello Nasty? I liked the last one just fine, but it couldn't hold a candle to Hello Nasty. and i'm very excited about all of this.

I also like the little extra design flair of corrdinating the color to the main color of the album cover being written about.

I'd pay a million dollars for a moving gif of Michael J. doing the Teen Wolf Dance...$500K for one of Patrick Dempsey doing the Ronald 'National Geographic' dance from 'Can't Buy Me Love'.

Shot in the Arm, both lyrically and musically, could wipe out a million Candleboxes and Sponges in a heartbeat. It blew my mind then and still does today. The album as a whole just had so many cool moments, not just via the production and from an instrumental standpoint, but I think it still holds some of Tweedy's finest lyrics.

Regardless, should still only be a little over $10 versus $25. Don't let them rob you, beaver pelt.

I have no other explanation other than i'm a sexy motherfucker (shakin' that ass, shakin' that ass). Yeah, as a Mats nut, there's no way I can't read that. I like how some of the authors delve into how the labum affected them personally outside of a textbook examination of the work, but that's one of those albums/bands i'd prefer to get more detail about everything that went into making it. Especially since there isn't a freaking book on the Mats out there and I really don't care that much about Colin Meloy's childhood. That said, i'll probably tee it up next...the one from Joe will be up

$25?! You can get it on Amazon for $9 and some change. deepdiscount.com has some for as low as $6+. I have a list of these I want to get to, but I only get a chance to actually sit down and read every so often as of late. Think i'm going to start ordering these in 3's and in sequence of what interests me the most...just work my way through them like that. Probably: Sign
