we're in talks to do an american version w/ steve carell to air on NBC in the fall. it will no doubt be inferior to the original, but i'm hoping for a big ratings bonanza.

I just realized today, that as of yesterday my neo-crappy excuse for a blog turned three years old. I know that there are some VC'ers who stop by now and then...to those few who obviously need to get a girlfriend/boyfriend or both, I say THANKS! For those of you who've never checked it out and like everything from japanese monster/retro sci-fi/b-movies, comic books, music, lowbrow/pop art, action figures, gratuitous tits and ass, tennis shoes, TV, donkey kong, meglomanical hipster doofus grandstanding and other useless pap...I humbly implore you to stop by my pop cultural vomitorium: ALL M

that'd be something...i can finally right the wrong of being grounded from the big generator tour stop in springfield. -
i remember seeing a picture of him w/out his makeup and he really just looked like one of the guys who hung out in the hallway by my high school wood shop.

turns out you may not be the dumbest generation after all. jnick: lighten up francis. i'm not saying there isn't any creedence to said study, but it does seem like a lot of % signs being thrown around versus anything definitive. if it is the case, my sons will really suck at math, but be able to give you an episode by episode plot synopsis for the cosby show off the top of their head.

seconded. that is the joint, yo.

i've got no problem w/ video games, as long as it's coupled w/ copious amounts of interaction w/ real live people and actual physical activity. personally, i find today's video games completely overwhelming and, like someone said earlier, almost too realistic to the point where you don't get the added benefit of augmenting it w/ your imagination. it also may have to do w/ the fact that i can barely sit down long enough to watch a 2 hour movie w/out getting fidgety and start thinking about what i'm going to do afterwards. i blame MTV. and advertsing agencies. and the government.
