  2. i don't know about rules...but it sure would of helped me get past the first two lines.
  3. yes. i'm amazed you used ellipses in your post...but refused to use an actual period at the end of any of your sentences.
  4. awesome. first, i'm ready for some new LOST and secondly, this makes me really happy in lieu of any strike-induced lack of 'Heros' epsidoes in the spring.
  5. best yankee swap present i ever got was the animatronic singing, dancing james brown.
  6. right on. that's like saying jack nicholson was doing a caesar romero-as-joker impersonation.

  8. before she passed, my grandma wolf and my aunt linda re-gifted the same freaking dish towel to each other for probably close to 20 years. they would try and outdo each other every year in giving it back to the other person...it was placed in the bottom liner of x-mas cookies, delivered by my uncle dan dressed up as santa in a blizzard, left on my aunt's doorstep swaddled around a toy baby, baked inside a friutcake, etc. no one knows where the towel is today...my aunt linda thinks it was probably hideen in a gift or something and nobody found it.
  9. both kids dig 'rise above' by black flag and 'private idaho' by the b-52's.
  10. Oh man, that extendo trailer in Perm's first link is awesome. Trailer is good too.
  11. i enjoyed knocked up, rob zombie's halloween and, while totally uncool, i actually had a blast watching transformers. i had more movies dissapoint me than i enjoyed this year. didn't make it to the theatre to see darjeeling limited, but i'm sure that had i saw it, it'd be my favorite. netflix!
  12. it should be no shocker that i respectfully disagree. while i will agree that a large part of the recent boon of live action super hero movies has left me a little cold as well, some have been a blast to see come to life on screen. the x-men and fantastic 4 movies are poor examples to hold as the standard. the fight sequences between spiderman 2 were phenomenal...the doc oc stuff really blew me away, especially as a huge fan of the comic book. the entire hellboy movie was great. the new take on the batman stuff is good (hell, i even enjoyed the first three) and the upcoming iron man/hulk
  13. i wonder if the bootleg trailer is still up on youtube. a dentist themed party?!
  14. madonna was significantly relevant both musically and culturally ...and anybody who can only boil down mellencamp to a truck commerical knows very little about music...'Scarecrow', 'Lonesome Jubilee', 'Big Daddy' and (especially) 'Whenever We Wanted'/'Human Wheels'...throw in his political/social commentary in both lyric and deed (Farm aid)...c'mon.
  15. 'scintillatin' dr. j poster calendar'
  16. oh man, yeah, i remember pizzazz. only 16 issues w/ covers like this?
  17. while not truly electronica, the new UNKLE is really good...he might like the most recent chemical brothers as well. plus, love thievery corp, but they are definitely a bit mellow sounding if he's looking for something more upbeat.
  18. really...but i will require at least 30 minutes of cuddling afterwards. or a beef sandwich.
