yes I have and in a few, maybe one cellphone has gone off and it lasts all of 30-45 seconds. no offense, but it think part of the problem is how easily annoyed some people are and how they let something so trivial ruin an entire movie for them. i think shit gets amped up by people on here sometimes...like during the course of a film there are 20-30 cellphones that go off in syphony and people are having 10 minute conversations on each of them. that said, i agree accountability is in pretty short supply these days...because we keep relinquishing people of it. i expect people to turn the cell

it will matter...you won't even know you received a call and/or message until you are out of the blocked area. what if someone is on the receiving end of an emergency call? most meetings of similar ilk i've been too, the moderator has enforced a strict 'cellphones on vibe/laptops closed' policy and it's worked just fine.

i'll preface this by saying that i completely support this strike and that these writers need better compensation for their work. however, to say that all studio heads or network execs who oversee numerous programs shouldn't receive more money than a writer on one program and are worthless is absurd. plus, don't kid yourself, these 'suits' are tasked not w/ the job of 'looking out for quality programming but 'looking out for programming that will generate ratings and, thusly, ad revenue'. everybody in the machine is important, but to say there shouldn't be a sliding scale on compensation

i don't know about novelty, i just think it's really, really well-done and sounds great. you know i'm a sucker for well-crafted pop, T. plus, i don't listen to near as much music (canadian or otherwise) as you do...to busy opressing the poor and watching monster movies. not that it matters, but i'm changing my 'Best of 2007' list to 'Favorites of 2007' list on my blog...who the fuck am I to tell somebody what the best releases out of umpteen thousand were?
