  7. I spent about 15 minutes chatting with Alex Chilton once. At the old Knitting Factory in NYC the bands often stayed in an apartment above the club. Chilton was playing a bunch of shows and I went to the first night. It was excellent so I went by to get tickets to another night. As I was walking up to club, Chilton was walking out of the building. We talked and then walked together for about 10 blocks before we were going in different directions. He seemed interested in talking about anything but music ...

  10. The highlight of my athletic career involves Pat Ewing. We went to the same high school and at the year end sports banquet, I got a trophy for being on the tennis team and he got a trophy for being the best athlete in the school.

  18. I used to love this album. I put it on yesterday for the first time in a long while and it didn't seem so great. There are definitely some great songs on it but there is also more mediocre stuff than I remember.
  19. You and me both. I don't have much Dead on my ipod but almost all of it is different versions of Dark Star from 1968-1970
