  1. ⇧ I love the brown one with all the volkswagens piled up, nice colour combination!
  2. I didn't pay much attention to your post until yesterday evening when I mail-ordered three Rolling Stones albums. The U.K. track list of Between the Buttons is very different from the U.S. track list, I ended up ordering the American edition because it contained the songs I wanted (the U.K. alternative was Flowers). For a time I considered buying GRRR instead of these three separate purchases. I read some pros and cons: it appears as though the sound quality on GRRR is extraordinary and hasn't been affected by loudness. However, the main reason why I didn't buy this are the versions that

  5. Thank you for the beautiful music you created, for generations to come.
  6. I still can't believe this news that Michael Stipe the reluctant singer is going to be singing again, this really caught me by surprise, I look forward to it.
  7. MTV in the mid nineties airing the Wild Roses video was my introduction to Nick Cave. When Murder Ballads when out of print I treasured my old copy which I acquired in 1996, then it was re-released in 2011 along with a DVD, I have yet to purchase this CD, although I've heard some reviewers say that the sound quality is actually awful and a victim of loudness. Curse of Millhaven is one of the songs I most remember from that album, it's really dark and sinister, but that's how much of Nick Cave's music is.
  8. It's been a good year fot the Heartless Bastards, they also did the soundtrack to Winter in the Blood.

  10. Doom and Gloom live that's something I look forward to hearing. On the other hand, I think we're lucky to be able to watch clips of any quality, those of us who didn't attend the show. Now if a DVD/bluray came out, that'd be another story.

  14. I disagree. Check the story of the new Mumford & Sons, became one of the best selling albums this year thanks in part to online streaming. According to an author, it sold more than Justin Bieber, at some point. If I can find that article I read I will post the link here. In general I'm a partisan of streaming, it's not just the actual cents earnt per stream, it's the extra exposure the band receives and the people who are willing to make a purchase after they like what they heard and after repeated listens over time. Of course, I understand if success is not the same for everyone, all
